🎬 Spotlight on LEIPZIG!

Between industrial charm and creative energy, the Austrian-German coming-of-age film WHO’S AFRAID OF GOD? is currently being shot at Leipzig’s Baumwollspinnerei @spinnereileipzig .

Starring Lena Urzendowsky (@lena_urzendowsky) and Katharina Hirschberg (@katharina_hirschberg), the production has found a unique backdrop at this iconic former textile factory turned creative hub.

Production designer Nadja Götze (@nadja_goetze_production_design) and prop master Maike Kiefer (@maike_carolin) share what makes Leipzig such a great place to shoot – from its inspiring atmosphere and creative community to its short distances and helpful locals.

The door you can’t miss at @spinnereigalleries @spinnereileipzig

A new look, right from the doorstep! For many months, we’ve been working with @lammkirch on the gallery’s new visual identity and website. Since end of August, that identity has made its way onto our door, bringing a little more of who we are into the Spinnerei. 📍

You can’t miss the entrance, and we’d love you to step inside.

Come for an opening, discover our current exhibition, or simply drop by during our regular weekly hours. You don’t need a special occasion to visit the gallery. Just a little curiosity.

See you on the other side!
