I did the God Momentum 40 Day challenge with 135 artists this year. I still remember when @spiry__ told me 2 years ago she could never be the type of artist to have a regular sleep schedule, go to the gym AND make art every day. Fast forward to this year, when she was one of the 29 superstars who defied her own odds. Not only with the art. But shealso got her business and promo stuff together too. Artists are the new athletes. #truthlotion

Over the past seven weeks, I have been working on a video series as part of an artistic challenge. TBH, I wasn’t sure I would make it through (especially pregnant and performing internationally @rvkfringe for the first time). We started with over 100 artists and now we’re down to 27.

We have sleep, exercise, nourishment, and weekly art goals. We check in with each other every day on a private platform. We cheer each other on, learn from our “mistakes”, and create and release from a place of heart.

𝙾𝚞𝚛 𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚘𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚖𝚘𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚜 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚍𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚏𝚛𝚎𝚎.

𝙸 𝚌𝚛𝚢 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝙸 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚋𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚍 𝚎𝚏𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚝 of 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝚒𝚗𝚟𝚘𝚕𝚟𝚎𝚍 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚐𝚎.

In fact, heART is a key element in staying in the challenge. Each week, our share must show a combination of effort, growth, and heart.

Artists and creatives, have you ever done something like this? Where would your life and your art be if you dedicated one full season to creation? One full season of celebrating your gift by dedicating each morning to your life’s work?

STANK YOU SO BERRY MUCH!
May 24, 2025 my friends and I put on a pop up shop. What once started out as a ruff idea managed to blossom into something oh so tangible. I’m so grateful for the love and support I received in putting all the pieces together. There were ups and downs yet we managed and pushed on!
Shout out to my vendors who took time out of their own schedules to be apart of the vision, shout out to my family for helping me throughout the entire process, shout out to the friends and strangers who came to see us do our thangy thang! Once again thank you and I await to see each of you continue on in your own ventures. Much 🫶🏾

⭐Features from the #slightlydrawthis competition!⭐ This was so incredibly hard. I wasn't expecting it to be so difficult or for their to be so many enteries so I had a time picking through them and finding my favourites. There were even more that I loved but I could only pick 9. To everyone who entered though I loved each and every one of them. I got so excited when I'd see a notification that someone else had drawn it cuz it's just so cool to see your art draw in so many different ways. Thank you all so much for entering ♡ .
.
🌟Winner of my comic🌟: @rachelbkart
There's something about the colouring, style, and composition of this image that I'm really drawn to. It's beautiful 🌟Runners up (in no particular order)🌟: @a_kittycows_art
The little stars are the cutest thing I've ever seen I really want some. Not to mention those galaxy earrings are the coolest and such a good idea

@zeeziez
This picture helped in inspire a comic idea about a star thief so thank you so much for that. It's so cute

@hanepsilon
The lighting is so intense and cool I really love what you did with it

@la_petite_blanchechatte
Beautiful work and I love the jars. Check out their post they included a speed drawing of how they made it!

@nataliehaku
You style is so so cute so how could I not pick this one

@emambart
This isn't one I was expecting but I really love. Seeing my design as a flash tattoo is so damn cool

@xjayju
I love that it looks likes she's about to slap me don't ask why. Really interesting choice of perspective

@matthewwdraws
She looks so strong and ready to kick ass and I love that

Check out all these amazing artists and while you're at it the #slightlydrawthis tag. The competition is closed for the comic but you're still welcome to enter my #drawthisinyourstyle challenge and I'll make sure to feature you on my story (Check the post for details). Thank you as well to everyone who's followed me I promised to do another drawing competition at 1000 which might happen fast than I ever expected! So I'll be patient for that one while I gather together some good prizes 🏃‍♀️ #illustration #art #artcompetition #drawthis #animeart #cartoonart #oc #competition

Quotes resonate and catalyze uniquely to different individuals in the same way that art does. Quotes can be concise yet powerful art pieces in and of themselves. When integrated into illustration, as was creatively done by @a_kittycows_art with the KiConscious quote by Michael Nicklin, they become a piece of an even greater message. Thanks, @a_kittycows_art, for including us in this fun image!
