It’s about 10 months between these two clips. Both filmed in the script library @bushtheatre At the beginning of this year I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and last year ADHD. 🧠💡⚡️

A lot can change in a short amount of time. It’s been an incredible creative year for me, and I’m so grateful to be able to share again. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me and given me opportunities to grow over this last year. 🙏

I’ve been publicly unmasked for a whole year now and stimming in public has calmed my nervous system down to such a degree that I can’t believe I’d been suppressing and internalising so much external behaviour my whole life!

🎭 “Masking is a strategy used by some autistic people, consciously or unconsciously, to appear non-autistic. While this strategy can help them get by at school, work and in social situations, it can have a devastating impact on mental health, sense of self and access to an autism diagnosis.”
- The National Autism Society

Unfortunately unreleased energy can often lead to sickness, which exacerbated all of my pre-existing health conditions but the mind and body are connected, are not separate things to be treated individually. All my answers came to me when I discovered I had Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome I learnt that hypermobility and neurodivergence are strongly linked. I have 7 (seemingly) different health conditions & types of neurodivergence. It is literally my connective tissue that binds them all together. Everything is connected. So now I make it my business to move everyday in any way that brings vitality and calm into my body. I dance, I sing, I stim. I write. I put my bare feet on grass everyday. It helps me.

I share this incase it’s helpful for you too. These are very intense times we are living through and it can feel pretty bleak at points. But there is always hope. Don’t let the algorithms grind you down.

I don’t want you to be in pain but if you are, know that you are not alone and know that I love you.

-you gotta let your energy out!

Capitalism, by nature, ensures that we upgrade our lives at the cost of someone else’s. From factories to mines, the cycle is the same—oppressed to oppressor, consumer to commodity. It shifts its guilt to our purchase …

If what happens on Earth stays on Earth 🤷🏾‍♂️ … where do we escape to?

Throwback to 2024 when hopelessness and dread kicked in. This is a snippet of my piece “maybe heaven is on Pluto“ hold frustration and more ‼️
