🏌🏾‍♂️ First tournament in the books! Played in my debut event at Rio Hondo Golf Club, hosted by the incredible Concerned Black Men of Los Angeles — and what a day it was. 🙌🏾

Beyond the scorecard, this round was about community, growth, and representation. Seeing brothers come together around the game, pushing each other to play better and think sharper, reminded me that golf is as much about character as it is about competition.

Big love to @cbmla_ for organizing such a meaningful event and giving the next generation something powerful to look up to. This is how we build legacy — one swing at a time. ⛳️💪🏾

🏆 WHO’S TAKING THE CROWN IN 2025?

Ohio State ran the table in the College Football Playoff…
But let’s be real — they still haven’t solved Michigan.
Four straight L’s in The Game. Will this finally be the year? 👀

Meanwhile, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, and Oregon all have their sights on the throne.
No cupcakes. No mercy. This season’s wide open.

🎮 EA College Football 26 drops in July.
🏈 Kickoff chaos starts in August.

I remember this interview like it was yesterday. A little backstory. This interview was the endpoint to a journey. When I started podcasting and really diving in, there were a select few people that I wanted on that were people that I looked to, enjoyed listening to on their podcasts and learned something from every time. One of those people was Jemele Hill. The way she commands the interview and it just flows effortlessly was incredible to hear on every episode of Jemele Hill Is Unbothered. So with that being said, I had to have her on my podcast. I'd send messages to try but no success early. But along with supporting a podcast I absolutely enjoy listening to every single Monday, I didn't give up on that dream. I stayed patient and understood that it wasn't on my time that things would happen. Fast forward to a year and change later, I got the pleasure of seeing Jemele at the Black Sports Business Smyposium in 2022. I took a picture that day from my seat as I heard her speak and then something happened. A dialogue led to putting together a show appearance on my podcast. I told that story to inspire someone to not give up but to also understand that not everything happens on your timing. And that it always isn't a thing that happens right now but happens when things are supposed to happen whether it's right now or down the line. Enjoy this small clip where people tuning in to this interview asked what was on Jemele's cup. Truly was a pleasure interviewing you Jemele and thank you for all that you do along with being the trailblazer you are. I'm still out here doing my podcast. I've made a few upgrades and adjustments as well. Thank you for being one of the people that helped mold who I am in the podcast game. Respect!

We are BLACK MEN!..... We build .... We don’t tear down other BLACK MEN! We have felt the pain of being torn down and we have decided we will be deliberate about building others! If I didn’t tag you, please don’t be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around, let’s do something positive!! 🌟upload 1 picture of yourself...ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers to do the same. Let’s build ourselves up instead of tearing ourselves down. ✊🏾✊🏾 COPY AND PASTE ✊🏾✊🏾
If I tags you don’t disappoint.
