Sixth year sponsoring Split Tech City Festival. 🎊

We believe companies should leave their communities better than they found them.

Remote work and AI make it easy to drift apart. We choose to bring people together.

See you next year! 🙌🏻

🧠💻↗️ I want to use my social media this time to get out of football world and tell you the story about @split_techcity

In 2019, I returned to my hometown Split for business reasons. I got new job and new project to work on. Plenty of ideas from experience gained around the world, but those ideas needed local people and enthusiasm to help them grow. Along the round I heard stories about Open Coffee meetups and Split Tech City community. As this usually goes, there had to be one enthusiastic person who was willing to push against the odds to create something like this. So I got lucky and I got my 30min coffee with @toni_trivkovic - the man behind idea 💪

I remember one sentence Toni mentioned in those 30mins “I only got 6-8people on my first few meetups who supported this idea”

Coffee became “longer meeting”, meeting became “dinner”, dinner became “friendship”

Today I want to express admiration as 6th Split Tech City conference reached +800 visitors and plenty of knowledge by top speakers.

Hats off, Toni & Split Tech City 👏

Predivno iskustvo koje ću dugo pamtiti. ❤️

Vidimo se uskoro na sljedećem.

@split_techcity Festival was a blast.

New venue, but the same (or even better) vibe. Great talks and panels, but even better side conversations with people from the community.

I was very pleased to see a lot of new faces, people running businesses outside tech who came to explore how technology and AI can improve what they do.

That's a great step for the entire ecosystem.

I had the honor of taking the stage to moderate a panel about the future of AI and the hype around it. A fast-paced, good conversation with @tjukic97 and @domagojostovic (we missed you @morava.m ).

Some of the insights:
- AI is the biggest technology revolution ever
- Jobs are changing, and changing fast, but jobs in tech won't disappear, they will evolve
- It's impossible to predict what the next six months will look like, and talking about 3 to 5 years is useless

One of the most important topics we covered was young people in tech.

If we don't hire and train young people, the industry will eventually die.

New technologies and AI are a huge opportunity for new people: to take risks, experiment, and build products and companies around technology that is native to them, without the debt or weight of existing systems.

Existing, more mature companies have a much harder time changing and adapting to every new thing. If they don't let new and fresh blood into the company, they will soon be dinosaurs.

To sum up: if you're young, hungry and struggling to get your first job, go out there, take the risk and take your place. Old pals, adjust as soon as possible, or the young lions will take your place very fast.

The last day of the festival week was reserved for the boat party. The best place to chill, enjoy the sunset and have real conversations about business.

There is no better place in the world than the Adriatic coast for something like this.

Good job STC. You'll have a hard time topping this next year. Big kudos @lucija_cl , @toni_trivkovic , @sericantonio and entire team.

Malo novosti iz NIVO-a

U posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci dosta se toga događalo iza kulisa, pa je vrijeme za kratki update.

- Postali smo partner s Coob Ads Croatia (ex. Admixer Media)
Kroz partnerstvo radimo na rastu naših klijenata kroz Google Ads, uz dodatnu ekspertizu, podršku i razmjenu znanja.

- Postali smo članovi @split_techcity zajednice.
Veselimo se novim poznanstvima, razmjeni znanja i projektima unutar lokalne tech scene.

- AI i automatizacija danas su sastavni dio našeg svakodnevnog rada.
U posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci razvili smo niz internih alata i automatizacija koji omogućuju brži operativni rad, bez pada u kvaliteti outputa.

A night with Split’s tech community.

Ice Rebus joined the 6th @split_techcity Festival at Žnjan as a partner, bringing the team, the machine, and plenty of conversations around technology, business, and what we’re building next.

For us, events like this are a chance to connect beyond the digital space, meet people face to face, show the technology in person, and be part of the community shaping innovation in Split.

Thank you to Split Tech City for another great edition, and to everyone who stopped by to talk with us. 🧊

Next stop: Innovate Split 2026, September 10–11, @tehnoloski.park.split
