10/11/2026 - James McAvoy !!

First off BADASS movie James !!! I loved the suspense, and how much I needed to know how the story was going to end for Silibil N’ Brains, god it was such a good movie 🤘🏾 thank you for the picture and the autograph too bro 🙏🏾 and also for everyone that is going to talk absolute smack about what I asked him to write, I asked him for a quote that James’ character HEDWIG says in the movie SPLIT, he states “You Might Be Pregnant Now” and he runs off after he “kisses” Anya Taylor-Joy’s character CASEY, since Hedwig has the mentallity and maturity of a 9 year old, he told that to Casey and I just thought it was one of Hedwig’s best quotes in the movie 🤣 but I’m still grateful that he signed my Hedwig funko anyways because with that, I completed my SPLIT movie set 🙌🏾

James McAvoy in Split (2016) delivers one of the greatest performances of his career, not just playing one character, but 7 mutants with completely different characteristics.

Split is a direct sequel to the film Unbreakable (2000), including its sequel Glass (2019) an incredible trilogy of mutants from the director M. Night Shyamalan.

The date Kevin remembered in Split was not just a random detail. 👀

At the end of Split (2016), when Kevin Wendell Crumb finally emerges, he asks Casey a chilling question: “This is still September 18, 2014, right?”

That date is real — and it carries a fascinating connection to James McAvoy.

September 18, 2014 was the day Scotland held its historic referendum on independence from the United Kingdom. The result? Scotland voted to remain part of the UK, with 55.3% voting No and 44.7% voting Yes. (GOV.UK)

McAvoy, who was born in Glasgow, had already spoken publicly about the debate. During the 2014 campaign, however, he deliberately kept his own voting preference private, saying he was concerned about “career preservation.” (The Independent)

A year later, he was much more open about his position, saying he was “very much up for independence” and predicting that Scotland could eventually separate from the UK. (The Independent)

So when Kevin says that date, there’s an irresistible layer of coincidence: a Scottish actor playing a character whose last remembered day was the exact date Scotland voted on whether to split from the United Kingdom.

Was it intentional? There’s no reliable evidence that Shyamalan chose the date because of McAvoy or the referendum.

But knowing the connection makes that little line in Split feel completely different.

Sometimes the most interesting movie details are the ones that make you stop and wonder: “Wait… was that intentional?” 🎬🇬🇧🏴
