“Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, be fortified by it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it.” - Hermann Hesse

2025 washed over me quickly. It dropped its wisdom in my veins and I look forward to 2026! Happy New Year! 🥂

It’s not the place, it’s the people🏔️☀️

“…and the next moment all of them were filled with wonder.
For they saw, standing in just the spot the screen had hidden,
a little old man, with a bald head and a wrinkled face,
who seemed to be as much surprised as they were.” - L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

It was great to have to opportunity to celebrate the creativity of High Point this past Tuesday. It was an honor to plan and engage with local residents, sharing ideas and perspectives for the future of South Main Street at Gateway to South High Point. The Community Design Workshop provided a space for the people of High Point to contribute their insight and help define the city's next phase of development 🌱#HighPoint #DesignWorkshop #Local #MainSt #Community

“On the day the tree bloomed in the fall, when its white apple blossoms fell and covered the ground like snow, it was tradition for the Waverleys to gather in the garden like survivors of some great catastrophe, hugging one another, laughing as they touched faces and arms, making sure they were all okay, grateful to have gotten through it.”-Sarah Addison Allen, First Frost

Every Thursday, we join Mark Taylor at the High Point Public Library to volunteer at their teaching garden. Together, we allow the garden to flourish so that it can provide food and resources that strengthen our community. This garden also gives our local pollinators the chance to rest, refuel and repeat. 🌱 #TheSagePlant #HighPointPublicLibrary #CommunityGarden #Volunteering #Pollinators

Remember The Hummingbird Tree? Well, as promised here is an update! The team went out to the property last week to hand some hummingbird feeders, lights, chimes, ornaments, and plant holders. It took a village but we got it done, now to add some homemade liquid sugar to feed our hummingbirds. As always, we will keep you updated on what comes next. 🌱 #TheSagePlant #TheEnnisProject #HummingBirdTree #Ornaments #Lights
