You're all doing an amazing job today and I'm so so proud of you. Continue to look out for your neighbors, be kind to each other and be kind to yourself. You're doing everything you can do from the littlest thing to the biggest thing. I'm sending you all big mom hugs to keep you warm today.

I try to look busy at Lost Weekend, but ever since LW 17 I’ve really only been interested in one thing: @lilyinapad’s dog Benny 💕✨

🍎 The Sci-fi Society joined forces for a special sneak peek ADVANCED SCREENING of SHATTER BELT, the mind-bending anthology series from friend of the show JIM BYRKIT! Everyone, including myself, could not get enough, and I’ve been chatting all day with people about it. SHATTER BELT explores the concepts of consciousness, reality, and how our perception alters our experiences. The ensemble cast was incredible, and I need someone to know that my heart exploded from how good the practical effects were! LONG LIVE PRACTICAL EFFECTS!! Jim we ❤️ you, we can’t wait to see more! 🍎 #alamowinchesterfilmclub #alamodrafthousewinchester #alamowinchester #scifisociety

One of the highlights of LOST WEEKEND XVII was the incredible experience of our Tenth Anniversary screening of A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT with our very special guest, ANA LILY AMIRPOUR! This film is just as captivating ten years later, and speaking with Ana about her beautiful film as well as her other projects was something I don’t think any of us will forget. Thank you THANK YOU to Ana for not only joining us, but for being so generous and welcoming. Also a very special thanks to THE LEVY FAMILY, our dear friends who appreciate good cinema as much as we do, for making this screening possible! Oh, and how could I forget BENNY!! ❤️

We had an amazing group of sky gazers, and there was plenty to be amazed by as we took in this latest cut of the classic film. Whether you saw this film for the first time in 1977, or 2024 (if you’re Meg or @zenithhaas), thank you SO much for gathering with us! Stay tuned for our next futuristic adventure!

🎮DEATH TO THE DEMONESS ALLEGRA GELLAR 🎮 Well, well, well, Sci-Fi Society. How do we feel about this goopy, fleshy, mind-bending ride from 1999?? EXISTENZ posited the question: what if alternate realities pulled people away from the real world and made them eat mutated amphibians to make a bone gun that shot teeth? (A question we’ve all wondered from time to time.) Thank you SO much to our brave crowd, and sorry if you were eating during this one! #alamowinchesterfilmclub #alamofilmclub #scifisociety #cronenberg
