Blue belt is such a beautiful time in your jiu-jitsu journey.

You know just enough to be dangerous… to your own ego. 😂

So every morning, look yourself in the mirror and remember:

She’s here. 🤍

After a very tough labor, a 4-hour surgery, and some postpartum complications for me, we have the most beautiful, perfect baby girl. She is healthy, she is here, and we are completely in love.

It’s been hard, and we’re still in the hospital taking things one day at a time. Eventually, I’ll share my birth story because I truly feel like it could help someone else. But for right now, I’m just soaking in our beautiful girl and focusing on healing.

I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for every text, phone call, prayer, and well wish. To the incredible nurses and doctors who have taken such amazing care of us, thank you. To our parents and friends for stepping in and taking care of the boys while we’ve been away, thank you.

And most of all, to my amazing husband—you have taken on the role of caretaker in a way I could have never imagined. You have been my strength through some of the hardest moments, and I don’t think I could ever put into words how much I love and appreciate you.

I’m so incredibly grateful. And through everything that has happened these past few days, I have felt God’s presence more than ever.

Prayer is powerful. 🙏🏼🤍

Thank you all for loving us, praying for us, and welcoming our beautiful baby girl into the world.

Some people try to bury your reputation instead of building their own.

On the mats, excuses don’t earn belts. Lies don’t earn respect. Every roll has a way of exposing what’s real. Technique beats ego. Consistency beats chaos. Truth has a way of showing up, even if it takes time.

Life can feel the same after betrayal, false accusations, or surviving domestic violence. There are moments when your character gets questioned more than your actions. When people hear the noise before they know the facts.

Keep training.
Keep healing.
Keep showing up.

You don’t have to answer every accusation. You don’t have to fight every rumor. Let your discipline speak louder than their deception.

Every class.
Every round.
Every sunrise.
Every step forward.
