Inside the inaugural Global Sport Innovation Exchange 🇬🇧

Three days before Sunday’s win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Colts and Sports Tech HQ brought team execs, league leaders, brands, investors and founders from both sides of the Atlantic to the Colts FanZone in London.

The afternoon covered how the NFL and its teams build new markets, how sport adopts new technology and how @bluecoltsmascot built a fan base far beyond Indianapolis 🌎

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the speakers who shared their time and expertise.

Just prop your phone up at the hoop, start shooting, and this AI tracks every single shot — makes, misses, and your exact shooting form. 🏀

It grades your release, your footwork, even your vertical — like a trainer that lives in your camera. The shot tracking is free, and the NBA literally partners with it. It’s called HomeCourt.

Out of all the hoops apps I’ve dug through, this is the one that actually works. Prop your phone up, shoot ten, and drop your make percentage below 👇

Thank you, London 🇬🇧

Ahead of the 43rd NFL game in London this Sunday, we teamed up with the @colts to create the Global Sport Innovation Exchange, a first-of-its-kind event tied to an international NFL game.

Decision makers and innovators from both sides of the Atlantic and across sport joined us for an afternoon on how the NFL and its teams are rewriting their playbooks to build and scale in new international markets.

We were honored to organize this event with the Colts and to bring some of Indiana’s sports tech founders and partners along with us, putting the state’s sports tech ecosystem in front of a global audience.

Special thanks to all the speakers who shared their time, expertise and perspectives:

Henry Hodgson, @nfluk
Rohn Malhotra, @sportstechx
Rebecca Hopkins, STA Group
Niall Finnegan, @twocirclessports
Scott Horowitz, Vision Insights
Charlie Greenwood, Sports_Loft
Roger VanDerSnick, Stephanie Pemberton, Charlie Shin, Trey Mock, Hayden Barnack and Grace Worcester from @coltslife & @bluecoltsmascot

At World Football Summit, we believe innovation only creates real impact when it moves beyond ideas and delivers measurable value to the industry.

That is why the Most Innovative Supplier by SportsTechX category at The WFS Awards 2026 recognises companies delivering innovative products or services to the football and sports industry, demonstrating clear value through implementation and results.

Together, they will assess the companies whose solutions respond to real industry needs, improve the way football and sport operate, and generate tangible results.

🏆 The winner will be announced at The WFS Awards 2026.

The future of sport technology isn’t about reducing tension. It’s about calibrating it.

Tension = the space between what technology can detect and what the system is justified to do next.

▪️A valid signal can still carry too much influence.
▪️A shared decision can still lack ownership.
▪️A successful intervention can still weaken trust.

⚖️ Calibration is not hesitation.

It keeps intervention proportionate to confidence, contextual risk and reversibility, while turning every outcome into learning.

Swipe through to explore how tension becomes:

📍contextual risk · 📍proportionate action ·📍clear decision ownership · 📍staying power

🔖 Save this for your next sport-tech decision.
