Are you interested in how the musical aspect of “Musical Theatre” all comes together? This is your chance!
Our Residential Musical Director, Sonia, and our “designated” Musical Director at MTSoc (Outstanding Contribution to the Arts Winner 2026), Ronan, are here to guide you! 😎
This Wednesday, 4-6 pm, at IOE C3.09, they're co-leading a workshop in Musical Direction to pass on their knowledge and experience and show you how it’s done! 🤩
An MD’s skills range from teaching vocal harmonies to conducting the band, and their involvement in a show starts as early as the casting process, supporting the show through the rehearsal process to the actual performances - so whether you are a performer curious about how MDing works, a musician interested in starting MDing, or a seasoned MD who wants to get involved in the UCL theatre scene, this workshop has something for you 🎶

🗓️ Date: 21st October
🕓 Time: 4-6 pm
📍 Location: IOE C3.09
🎟️ Tickets: Free

Get your FREE tickets here: https://studentsunionucl.org/whats-on/clubs-societies/musical-direction-with-ronan-and-sonia-mding-spotlight-workshop

Please note that this is a Taster Session and is FREE to attend, but you’ll need a Taster Membership to join! Get our free Taster Membership here: https://studentsunionucl.org/clubs-societies/musical-theatre-society

Bring all your questions, learn skills and tricks, and start your MD journey HERE! Looking forward to seeing you 🥳
