It’s time to say good bye to this legendary Airbus “Gallere”A340-600. The first time i flew in 2002 with my mum in this beauty back from Seoul to Frankfurt. At first I didn’t like the plane because we flew with the queen of the skies 747-400 operated by @lufthansa. After years i understood that this beauty was a genius especially the scream of four Rolls Royce Trent 500 engines when he took off.

Through the message that the remaining planes are retiring by 16th October i came back for my first hobby, the planespotting where i chased the four left aircraft’s :
D-AIHW, D-AIHX, D-AIHY and D-AIHZ.
My favorite plane was the D-AIHW🫶🏼.

I met lots of enthusiasts like: @lux.jets @laurent3.0lh @🐈@aviationspotter.hessen @ossi_aviationdrs @serban.ftl_380 @spotterlux @spotter_ben06 (paning shots) @linushld @wolfgang_anderiasch @planespotter_nicolas @planespotter_hxgo , Katja,Sam and many many more great people 💯🙏. We enjoyed every departure and arrival in the morning sun, rain or at the daytime.
With that new friendships were made.

At the last flight you won’t believe that, that I was very sad and i dropped some tears. You will be missed by many aviation fans, pilots and spotters.

Thank you @lufthansa for sharing the moments🙏💯. Always happy landings and on to the next chapter! Over and out, your Kohl-Bin
