Absolutely honoured and grateful to have won Best Up and Coming Journalist at the 2025 Voyager Media Awards — and to also be named a finalist for Sports Journalist of the Year. 📽️🎙️

I’ve learned so much during my time at the NZ Herald — it’s been a bit of a grind at times, but I’m incredibly lucky to be surrounded by colleagues who constantly push me to be better.

A huge thank you to those who’ve trusted me to share their stories, especially the sensitive ones — it’s a privilege I don’t take lightly. I’m excited to keep growing as a sports journalist and to continue doing meaningful work that gives a platform to communities and voices that too often go unheard.
