Looking back at 2025 makes me excited for next year!

I made some of my favorite rope art pieces this year, went on a magical river float, and met so many amazing people at markets ❤️

Looking forward to more adventures to paint, people to meet and art to create for you!

If you have any markets or retail spaces you would want to see my art it let me know!

Friday in @zionnps

17.2 miles of bike riding and then another 4.5 miles of hiking. Half of that hiking in knee to shin deep water through a river bed.

Today we took on The Narrows!

Sis Sees the World tour is done for the day and currently nursing very sore muscles.

📍Zion National Park

🥾I was sick when I was there and did not get to trek up to angels landing. I made up for it with some other hikes that still had incredible look outs.

-Sand Bench Trail
4 mile loop ~2 hours
Stop #4 on the shuttle
We hiked this on a Sunday and had the trail to ourselves the entire time. It is in fact VERY sandy… wear appropriate boots!

-Emerald Pool Trail
3 mile loop~ 1.5hours
Stop #5 or #6 on the shuttle
I recommend starting from stop 6, because there’s awesome view points heading to the pools from there. Definitely take a dip in the river when you’re done near stop 5. This trail was BUSY on a Monday afternoon.

🌡️We were in Zion in October on a Sunday/Monday. I felt that the crowds were not overwhelming, temperatures were very tolerable and there were few bugs.

🌄I recommend either very early morning hikes or afternoon, to catch the perfect angles of sunlight on the cliff faces.

🚌 Be aware that during peak season, you MUST take the shuttle from the visitor center to access all of the main hikes. DO drive 9 to the eastern end of the park for added views from the convenience of your car.

🏨We stayed at @zionbumbleberry and had a lovely experience. Views from the hotel were magnificent. It’s right in Springdale, so everything is very accessible.

🍳☕️Fuel up for your day with breakfast at Porters. If you stay at Bumbleberry you get a complimentary breakfast next door at Porters!

🍔Grab a hardy meal (the buffalo burger 🤤) at @zionbrewery to recover from a long day of hiking. Enjoy a cold beer🍺 and the magical views from this restaurant!

🍦treat yo self to a cold scoop at @springdalecandycompany !

I cannot wait to go back and experience the rest of Zion! Comment with your recommendations for my next trip!

Get ready for a special 🌵Utah edition of my #sundayviews, a weekly post where I share my favorite things + places (usually in Chicago). A few weeks ago, I visited St. George, Utah and here I am chilling at the hip + adorable @theadvenireutah, wearing my Michelle earrings and Irena ring (and my fav travel case from @monogramsonwebster gifted to me by a special friend).

We went to Utah to pick up the Peach (my oldest daughter) who she was studying 🩰 with @balletwest1 @artemotionusa. This ballet program is one of the top in the country and I was grateful that my daughter had the opportunity to learn from the best this summer. Here is the finale performed at the beautiful @utahtechu performance center.

St. George is a beautiful city near the Nevada and Arizona borders. There are gorgeous red cliffs all around and we dined at the beautiful @cliffside_restaurant. I ordered fish from the specials list and now I can’t remember what it was but I loved it. We also hit @sakurastgeorge, a hibachi restaurant and everything was amazing there as well.

We visited @zionnps and I have to be honest- I gotta go back pronto. Zion is just a feast for the eyes + soul- it truly made me feel emotionally connected to this beautiful world. If you ever feel low, go to a national park. If you can’t get to one, watch Call of the Canyon (a documentary about Zion). We had a slight snag in our plans- we didn’t realize it was rainy season in Utah! The 112 degree weather fooled me. Horseback riding was cancelled but we plan to return to @eastzionadventures @zionponderosa (and play with their little baby goats again).

When we do return, I have to revisit the @springdalecandycompany. They had the most delicious chocolates and ice cream. (Yes, we are those parents that think dessert should be eaten at any time and before dinner.) We also ate wonderful pizza at @zionpizzanoodle. Mr c+p and I ordered 1/2 focaccia and 1/2 cholesterol hikers pizza- it was incredible. So after a long hike through Zion, go go go there and you won’t be disappointed.

That’s all for now and feel free to drop me a comment below 👇🏼
