Join us in the New Year as Touch Football returns to Algonquin College’s Dome on January 5th! Featuring Men’s and Coed divisions of play, there’s no better way to run off those holiday dinners than with a group of friends and teammates. If there’s enough interest for a women’s division, we will try and accommodate it. We play Sunday evenings starting at 6pm. The season runs until early April, with an 8 to 10 game season plus playoffs. However, no games are played on our holy Superbowl Sunday. While we’re still waiting for our contract to confirm final pricing, our costs were $2025 per team last season. There’s always an increase in rental fees, so expect costs to be slightly higher as they will also include parking rates in our fees now. A $500 deposit is required by Dec 1st. Whether you want to register as a team, or individual, please contact Gordie Laverty 👉 gthemvp@hotmail.com. We can’t wait to get back on the turf! COED CLASSIC | UNDERWEAR AFFAIR 💗🏈 Our annual COED tournament took place yesterday afternoon at Minto Recreation Complex! So much fun playing a few games wrapping up with delicious 🍕 This tournament was started in remembrance of our ONTFL alum Linday Stewart who sadly lost her battle with colon cancer in 2012. Her team, Tanks, wore underwear outside their attire to raise awareness for cancers below the waist; we carried on the tradition. We keep Lindsay and anyone fighting this terrible disease in our football hearts 💕 Big shout-out to our team managers for bringing your teams together for such a great afternoon & cause. Thanks to all our players for participating. Congrats to all our MVP'S and special thanks as always to our amazing sponsor @labattbreweries @jonclement17 for the fantastic prizes 🏆 Please tag yourself below 👇 in the group photo if we missed you! 📸 The Ottawa Nepean Touch Football League is proud to be an inclusive and diverse family-style run organization that welcomes people from all walks of life 🏃🏃‍♀️ All you need to be a member in the ONTFL is a pair of cleats and an interest in football.
