Honored to sit around this table of such talented entrepreneurs in Iowa. ❤️ We have become an amazing support system to each other because running brick & mortar retail business is hard. Like really hard but we all do it because we love offering quality products and service to our communities.

Please check out @ephemera_design @spruceomaha @shoprobinriley @feedfoster @scout.of.marion @adorngiftandhome @mrsglynnandco and understand why we do what we do. When we push to support small businesses, these are the ladies who keep our communities vibrant!

Thank you Erin, as always, for your hospitality!

Dundee continues to be one of the most beloved neighborhood in Omaha. Surrounded by locally owned favorites and historic architecture, Dundee offers a well-connected and walkable, community-oriented space to plant your roots.

Footsteps from Elmwood and Memorial Park the opportunities for activities, community-spaces, and restaurants are endless. Some of my favorites include:
@dundeedoubleshot for a morning coffee

@rosiejanegiftsomaha and @spruceomaha for gifts, clothing, and unique interior pieces

@le_quartier_ for delicious pastries, soups, and sandwiches

@thehollowsdundee for wine and cocktails

Watch a classic or blockbuster at @filmstreams

@pitchpizzeria, @lylespizzeria, @avoli_osteria, @oohdelallyomaha for delicious plates & pizza

Stop by @duckduckbottleshop to enjoy live music on their back patio

Visit @dundeecommunitygarden for vibrant blooms and community connection

Located in Central Omaha, near @iamunmc and @unomaha, in addition to a variety of primary schools, it’s a family-oriented neighborhood that grows with you. And with many of the historic homes in the area recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, there’s a distinctive neighborhood feel to Dundee with character and long-term potential enticing new homeowners.

In an excitement to connect with neighbors and local businesses, the neighborhood’s summer festival titled Dundee Day (@dundeeday), set for August 22nd this year, offers an opportunity to engage with vendors, local businesses, and enjoy the beauty of the Dundee area.

☀️☕️ Come stroll with me through Dundee!

One of the best things about living in this historic neighborhood is its walkability. You’re likely to run into a friendly neighbor or a cute dog. The scenery is always changing and there’s so much to explore.

One of my favorite parts of living and working in Omaha is getting to support so many great local businesses 🤍

I stopped into Spruce in Midtown recently and it’s seriously the cutest spot for home decor, gifts, and all kinds of fun, unique finds. If you’re trying to shop local more or just need a go-to for something a little different, definitely add this one to your list.

Such a great Midtown Omaha shop to pop into.
