California Mission Trip 2026

I had so much fun serving in California with my brothers and sisters in Christ! It was cool to see how God uses different people to teach us different things. Going into this trip I knew of maybe half of the people going. I was uncertain about how the trip would go but throughout the trip I realized that God has a plan and puts people in your life to teach you. On this trip I got to work and grow with a bunch of amazing people. We did work like painting, cleaning cabins and around the camp, clearing the forrest of dead trees and dry brush, cleaning and organizing a workshop, working with the kids at the camp and building connections and growing each others faith, but my favorite part was that no matter what the task was, people were jumping in to help. I got to witness baptisms and someone accept Christ. Galations 3:28 says “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Even though I didn't know some of the people before, I know them now and can say that everyone on the trip had the same goal, which was to serve the Lord and further His Kingdom. This trip was unforgettable and I can't wait for what God has next.
