Announcing our engagement from Australia and watching everyone react back home in the UK was one of the sweetest parts of this whole journey✨

It’s starting to get serious!

I’ve faced many tests in my life… but nothing like this.

After everything Amanda and I went through to finally have Faith — seven years of trying, rounds of IVF, and nearly losing her to a fire when she was just three months old — I realised life can change in a heartbeat. It gave me a new perspective: if I’m still standing, I have to do something with it.

That’s why I’ve committed to the Cotswold Challenge.
104 miles. 48 hours. A weighted vest on my back.

I’ll be walking side by side with a team of men who know the true weight we carry as fathers, sons, husbands, and brothers. And this isn’t just a physical test… it’s emotional, mental, and spiritual.

This challenge will push me further than I’ve ever gone before. It’s not about medals or finish lines. It’s about proving what we’re capable of when the odds are stacked against us. It’s about walking for those who can’t, and showing my daughter that her dad never gave up.

This is more than a walk.
It’s a battle against the limits we all place on ourselves.

Are some people just meant to be fat?

A statement that grinds my gears that some people say is ‘maybe I’m just meant to be fat’ if this is you give your head a wobble.

We are meant to be happy and healthy in our own skin. If you’re overweight it’s generally because of poor lifestyle choices. Quite often poor lifestyle choices such as too little exercise, poor sleep, poor food choices and over consuming food.

Eating habits: If someone’s parents have poor eating habits it’s often possible their children also will. You can break the cycle! You may need someone to teach you like myself but it is possible to turn your life around and be very happy, healthy and in fantastic stand out shape 📈

Many either learn from parents or unfortunately develop poor lifestyle habits such as poor sleep, low activity level or eating too much junk food. These things can be easily rectified with the right guidance putting you on track for a healthier and happier life.

Hypothyroidism: A thyroid issue is not an excuse to be overweight in the UK as your GP can help via medication to get metabolism functioning correctly. I’ve had phenomenal success with individuals that have hypothyroidism so I know first hand this is not an excuse to have a high bodyfat level.

Be happy and healthy in your skin don’t settle for anything less.
