This one’s for the dreamers—for everyone who hopes to find abundance and success by doing the things they LOVE. I hope this serves as a reminder that you are capable of anything you put your mind to, with the right attitude and intentions.

This summer, I purchased a 120-year-old Greystone home on the north side of Chicago, just steps from Wrigley Field, to serve as my new permanent media laboratory. This city sparked my love for urban photography over a decade ago, and I’m grateful to finally call it my official home base.

The past few years have pushed me to trust in the universe, appreciate the little things, and keep showing up—working smart, staying grateful, and pouring my heart and passion into everything I do.

I’m incredibly thankful for my team, mentors, and parents for guiding me every step of the way on this journey. Most of all, I’m grateful for YOUR support of my craft, and I look forward to sharing this historic space with you for years to come. ❣️

hey Mom,

it’s been a while since I wrote you. I don’t know how time works in heaven but 254 days have gone by here on earth.

First & foremost I want you to know that I’m okay. I love & miss you more than any words could describe but recently I’ve been feeling your energy flowing through me in ways I can describe. The year before you got sick I was struggling & you knew that I was depressed. It’s really hard to be off trail lost in the mountains knowing there’s a path to get back onto but you can’t find it. During that year I watched you retire from a lifelong career of teaching & then immediately jump in to take care of grandma. The motherly instinct inside you was the strongest force of nature I’ve ever experienced & the nurturing energy you poured into me will never leave. The love & energy you gifted to the world was felt by so many & will continue to be spread through the spirit inside of me that you birthed into existence. I just had another “one of those weekends” with my two brothers from another angelic mother at @hulaweenfl !! Last year when I visited for the first time I told you it was “one of a kind” & year 2 definitely reinforced that.

11 years ago when my friends & I bought tickets to @northcoastfest we wanted to see @zedsdead & because of my friends, a lot of dreaming & a whole lotta love I did my first ever multicam performance coverage with the boys & queen over at @obskurastudios . I’ve always dreamed of a tree cam capturing the lasers rip through the leaves. job still ain’t finished!!! we’re just getting started!

I’m so proud of who I am. I know you are too. Thank you for igniting that flame deep inside my soul and setting my spirit on fire. It’s a dark world but there’s nothing that’ll stop me from being a bright light.
