This summer was probably the most transformative summer I’ve had. After some of the hardest yearssss of my life, I feel like I finally remember how God intended me to live.

I remembered how it feels to let your guard down and really enjoy the people you have around you. Really get to know people who were once strangers, and let them get to know you.

I remembered to let Jesus take the wheel. This was just my mood all summer long. God stripped a lot from me this last year to the point where I no longer have an ounce of me that wants anything outside of God’s will for me. Humbled enough to know that this life is so temporary, and I only want my life to serve a bigger purpose than myself.

I remembered what it felt like to be around the women who want to experience the ordinary, mundane everyday life with you, and the super extraordinary life changing events.

I remembered to take in little moments that take you out of the work life matrix. Even if you’re only there for ten minutes…and you get poison ivy from it. 😅😂
But then it was a good reminder that sometimes God needs me to sit the eff down.

I remembered what it felt like to be myself without the fear of judgment of the people around me. I’ve been a part of so many social groups over these years that I had to be excellent at what I do, or not say anything awkward, or just blend in the background to be accepted. This summer was a good reminder that the RIGHT people will accept and love you for being you, and not what can you do for them.

I remembered the love I have for all the art that I do. Not for money, but because I truly love to create.

I remembered to be thankful for everything God does provide you with instead of yearning for what I think I should have.

I remembered that I’m a goofy weirdo. And that’s ok.

I learned that having strong women actually in your corner, rooting for you, is the most powerful energy to keep you going in this life.

I remembered that I have free will to color drunk in a bar. Who’s gonna stop me?

I remembered that I have amazing people in my life and even if you don’t see each other for months, the love is never gone. 🫶🏻

I remembered that I’m a fuckin baddiiiiiie. 😜
