Cake International is rapidly approaching, and everything is coming together in readiness for my feature at the show!

It’s time to introduce the beautiful Princess Catherine. She has been an absolute joy to create using Squires Kitchen Cocoform Modelling Chocolate and Rainbow Dust Colours, all available from The Cake Decorating Company.

I am so pleased with how she is coming to life, and I can’t wait to share more photographs with you soon.

Prince William is currently being sculpted and will be ready for his unveiling very soon, so watch this space!

More pictures are on the way, so keep your eyes peeled.

I look forward to seeing you all at Cake International, 6th-8th November, at the NEC Birmingham, where Prince William and Princess Catherine will take centre stage.

See you all soon! 💕

National Baking Week…..so far!

For me, baking has always been about so much more than what comes out of the oven. It’s about sharing, connecting people and creating moments together. And this week has been a pretty special reminder of just how powerful that can be.

📸 1-2: In the Global Lounge at @uniofleicester our Bake Off-style brief was ‘The World on a Biscuit’, the idea was simple: your story, your biscuit! Students were invited to decorate a biscuit however they wished, drawing inspiration from their culture, home country, traditions, favourite celebrations, hobbies or interests - sharing a little piece of what matters most to them! A wonderful buzz about the place, with students who had arrived separately leave having exchanged details and made new connections.

📸 3-6: At the start of the week I was on stage at @newscientistlive delivering ‘Mission Bake: Exploring Space Science Through Food’ to a huge audience of school students. A joy to share the stage with Charlie from the @spacecentre as we delivered our action-packed show. Plus catch up with the amazing team at @medicalresearchuk .

📸 7-8: And also this week I’ve had the pleasure of hosting a Maths Kitchen as part of @mathsnoproblem_ Leading the Change conference around Mathematics Education for the New Curriculum.

📸 9: Lots of bakes from myself. Given the WOW with @rainbow_dust_colours and @squireskitchen .

📸 10-12: But most importantly, lots of people getting stuck in as well!

And now this weekend, in honour of this weeks @britishbakeoff theme, it’s time for Bread!! I’m thinking I go for the enriched bread showstopper challenge - maybe I remake my plaited Tiger showstopper?

Who else is baking this weekend? And what are you making?

Who said you can’t use sprinkles on a fondant cake? 😜✨

Well… I’m here to prove them wrong! 🎂✨

After spending two lovely days visiting the amazing @sugarandcrumbsbytruly production, I had the pleasure of seeing their incredible range of products up close — and honestly, it reminded me just how AMAZING the UK cake industry is! 🇬🇧❤️

There are so many fantastic British businesses creating beautiful products for us cake artists, and supporting and buying from UK businesses is one small way we can help keep this amazing industry growing. 🙌🏻

Go and check out @sugarandcrumbsbytruly — their range is incredible! And I love that they work alongside other fantastic UK brands, including @rainbow_dust_colours and @squireskitchen . ✨

Sprinkles + fondant = YES PLEASE! 😍🎂

Toy Story!

Today was my biggest boys Birthday, we did Toy Story theme as he loves Toy Story! So obviously I had to make a themed Cake. And obviously, I had to make it good because all the Mums know I’m a cake maker so couldn’t let anyone down 🤣🙈

We still have plenty (if your local and fancy a slice pop me a message)

Obviously taking photos of cakes for my own family I am shocking because I was too busy trying to put out all the food and arrange all the other stuff I don’t usually have to do so, please excuse the most horrendous and bad photos 🤣🤣

I hope your all having a lovely weekend!

Sarah! Xx
