This year as I participated in the NYUAD Arts Centre’s Numoo professional development accelerator program, I was also going through a personal journey of fighting health conditions, rethinking my life directions and rebuilding my identity.
Having an art community that shares a common vision, and surrounding myself with understanding, supportive and caring people, is a huge part of what has helped me stay positive and resilient, but also at times has allowed myself to be vulnerable knowing that I will be understood.
The growth that this program has brought to me goes way beyond artistic and professional level – the experience has truly re-shaped me as a person.
I would like to give huge thanks to Bill, Lana, Reem Saleh, Reem Allam, Leila and the rest of the Arts Centre team. I’ve known you for a long time since I came to Abu Dhabi and came to NYUAD, but looking back at these past 4 months, I feel so happy that we get to know more about each other as humans. This place now feels like a home to me, and I look forward to witnessing and being part of the future of performing arts in Abu Dhabi that your work will foster.
I would like to also thank the entire Numoo 2026 cohort. It has been a blessing to know you all and share each other’s journey. I learned a lot from every single one of you, and I cannot wait to see what this group of amazing talents will create in the future!

I present to you the Numoo cohort of 2026! 🪁🤩
What a blessing it was to be part of such a beautiful and talented group of artists and individuals.
Thank you to everyone in the team and at the Arts Center for sharing their time, knowledge and trust with us all. This was an exceptionally grounding and inspiring experience that will stay with me throughout my creative journey. THANK YOU ALL. So much love and luck to this lovely lot! 💖🎩🎋
Come curious, leave inspired 🐝

Back in the UAE and straight into the last weekend of NUMOO — an artist accelerator by @nyuadartscente for creatives in the country.

So grateful to have been part of this programme and this lovely group of people. It’s been such a nice space to explore, create, learn from each other and finally get to share our own projects at the Arts Center. ✨
