We had a BLAST at the Scleroderma Research Foundation’s (SRF) @srfcure Cool Comedy-Hot Cuisine on Tuesday where they raised more than $1M to fund research and find a cure for scleroderma! It was a memorable night filled with beautiful tributes to Bob Saget and his undeniable dedication and passion, supporting scleroderma awareness and funds for scleroderma research with the help of his Full House cast mates and the many comedians that loved him and showed up for the cause. SRF’s Chairman, Luke Evnin, PhD, gave an inspiring speech full of hope, sharing some of the amazing strides they’re making in research and getting closer to a cure, while Howie Mandel Honored John Stamos with the Bob Saget Legacy Award. The comedians ended the night with full bellies of hearty laughs, giving of their time for the cause. WELL DONE SRF!!!!! Until we meet again.....

Sharing this night with @lilyfeniger meant so much to me. ❤️
 On Tuesday, we joined my aunt @susanfeniger at Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine for an evening of incredible food, laughter, and generosity benefiting the Scleroderma Research Foundation. The night raised more than $1,080,000 to advance research and bring us closer to a cure. 
For nearly four decades, my aunt has poured her heart, time, and talent into this cause. I’m so proud of her, and having Lily there to see that commitment firsthand made the evening especially meaningful. As a dad, these are the kinds of experiences I want to share with her: moments that show how much good people can do when they keep showing up for others. 
Scleroderma is a rare autoimmune disease that can affect the skin and internal organs, and there is still no cure. The work of @srfcure matters deeply to the people and families living with it. This year, the foundation is investing more than $8 million in research while advancing its nationwide patient registry and helping more people understand the disease. 
Susie, I love you. Thank you for giving us so much to be proud of and for showing Lily what a lifetime of caring for others looks like.

What a night!!! Over $1 mil was raised for the @srfcure and we all had the honor of presenting @johnstamos with the Bob Saget Legacy Award! It truly was a special night and I know Bob was looking down beaming with tears in his eyes, so grateful that everyone continues to show up for him and this cause that meant so much to him… Bob’s goal was to help eradicate Scleroderma, the awful disease that took the life of his sister, Gay, in 1994. Thanks to him and to the incredible efforts of the Scleroderma Research Foundation over the past several decades, we are now closer to a cure than ever!

since Bob passed, I took over one of his duties, booking incredible comedians for Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine. This year, I asked the brilliantly hilarious @fortunefeimster, @themattfriend @jaypharoah, @lisaannwalter, @ronfunches and @sethgreen to perform (Seth co-hosted the auction) and of course, everyone was glad to show up for Bob and for the cause!

And a special thank you. to the endlessly generous @johnmayer for donating an incredible package to one of his shows at Sphere Las Vegas next year- that package alone raised $150,000!

Another special thank you to @therealjeffreyross - truly, the host with the most. You have filled Bob’s hosting duties so effortlessly and so spectacularly, truly nobody could do it better. We all love you so much, Jeff, and are so grateful to you!

Thank you to @susanfeniger for your delicious cuisine, creativity, and hard work every single year. I can’t believe you have done over 45 of these events since the very first Sharon Monsky started the SRF. Bob loved you so much!

Thank you to SRF for trusting me each year to continue to help fight for a cure! That’s the biggest honor of my life to continue to support Bob’s legacy!

Oh wait, one more thing, thank you to my incredible boyfriend, @breckinmeyer for showing up for me, the foundation, and Bob, for the last 3 years. It takes a strong ass incredible man to do what you do!

and thank you, my angels of stepdaughters @aubreysaget and @larasaget - Stepmommy Kelly loves you! And @adam.saget you produce the most incredible event every year, your uncle would be so proud! Love you!

Last night, I had the incredible honor of receiving the Bob Saget Scleroderma Award. To be recognized by a charity that meant so much to my dear friend Bob, and one he worked so tirelessly for, means more to me than I can put into words.

Bob had the biggest heart, and he used it to make a real difference in people’s lives. I miss him every day, and I’m so grateful to be a small part of carrying on his legacy. Special thx to my dear bud, Howie M for giving me award in his shorts. (he thought it was over zoom)

And I’m pretty sure Bob is still with us, because somehow he’s managed to channel his completely inappropriate sense of humor through my son Billy. The kid has Toilet Tourette’s. Poop, pee, fart. All day long.

Thanks, Bob. I love you too.

It’s so hard to believe that almost a year ago to the day, this horrible disease took my mom from us. I miss her every single day. I’m incredibly grateful for the @srfcure and the extraordinary work you do. Because of your dedication, research, and commitment, we were given a few more precious years with Mom. @adam.saget thank you for everything you do and for continuing to fight for families like ours. I’ll always be grateful. 🤟🏼🙏🏼

@srfcure funds and facilitates the highest quality research aimed to improve the therapies for and ultimately cure scleroderma. It’s a cause we champion on behalf of Bob Saget, who was a fearless advocate for those suffering from this disease—even before his own sister was diagnosed.

Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine is their annual fundraiser. It’s a night filled with the best food made by @susanfeniger and we burn calories with laughter thanks to @therealjeffreyross and his buddies who always come out to support. This year the talented group included @fortunefeimster @mattfriend @jaypharoah @ronfunches and they were kind enough to honor my husband with the Bob Saget Award. He does show up for his friends, in life and beyond.

Besides attending this amazing event, we also support SRF with proceeds of the @mysaintmyhero bracelet in the last slide. It’s a fashionable way to support this great cause!
