My friend Matt @grateful_dad91 has been a huge support of my work! These pearl bowies look so happy with this GLORIOUS Big Bear from Steve Johnson @srjknives
Both my bowies are sole authorship pieces.
Matt has a very nice collection, he has good taste!
Thank you my friend.

Happy Friday Everyone! Great mail call yesterday; Got my 5 inch velcro discs just in time for shaping all these handles and bolsters. Fee 220 grit belts and a 3/33 inch thick piece of CPM D2 to try. Received several different and new to me ceramic belts to try out. Can be quite a challenge figuring out which are the best value? Anyone have any favorite ceramic belts to recommend? Can't forget the cool @srjknives catalog from 1990 and a template of Steve Johnson's 55 Year Anniversary knife.

A shoutout to some of my favourite craftsmen on Instagram…

As a drone pilot with a lot of my shots done for cruise ships, tankers, and other vessels, the @seikowatchofficial “Emperor Tuna” ref. 8L35-01B0 is a great work watch and a great conversation starter with seafaring folks.

It is seen here wearing some of the nicest custom crocodile strap made by @atelier.yang using leather from @henglongleather, so do hit @atelier.yang up if you need any custom leather stuff!

Pictured in the “background” are also some of my favourite knives by another extremely talented artist @michaelsmithcustoms who made all of these art knives, and one of which is a collaboration too with another crazily-talented knife maker @srjknives, and engraved by the extremely talented @julie_warenski !!!

Have a good evening ahead!

YouTube video of the June issue of Knife Magazine's Giveaway Knife! Check it out and give a thumbs up. @theknifemag website has the details for the giveaway, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A SUBSCRIBER TO ENTER!!! Numerous ways to get additional entries. Few details on what is included; @srjknives (Stephen R. Johnson) supplied one of his zippered cases with the legendary Manti, Utah crest. SRJ signed one side of the collab knife we made together, I was honored to sign the other side. Includes leather sheath. Mirror finished RWL34 blade, Red Stag scales. Once in a lifetime opportunity for me, same for the Knife Magazine subscriber who will become the new owner of this Loveless style dropped point that SRJ modified. Knife Magazine will be handing out some copies of the June issue with the Loveless Influence feature, the dropped point knife will be on display at the show as well!

Grinding bevels on this blade that has been sitting on my bench for some time. Will hold off grinding the Steven(SRJ)Johnson designed Loveless style knife until the June issue of Knife Magazine drops. It will have a cool Loveless influence story. Will post grinding the @srjknives design then, maybe other makers will post their Loveless style knives then? I will find something for a giveaway then to encourage people to get involved! Knife Magazine will also have details about giving away the collaboration knife SRJ and I made!
Have a great weekend everyone!
