DAY 1
A Call To Action (ACTA Conference Philippines 🇵🇭)

After a long journey from North Siargao Island to Tagaytay, God has been faithful every step of the way. We drove 12 hours to Cagayan de Oro City, took a 1 hour and 30 minute flight to Manila, traveled from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 by Grab, and then rode a bus to Tagaytay where the conference is being held.

The ACTA Conference (“A Call To Action”) is a gathering for people who love the Lord and have a passion for action sports. Their mission is to equip, empower, and mobilize individuals to use action sports as a tool for disciple-making in local communities and to the ends of the earth. The conference also exists to encourage and support leaders around the world through generosity and partnership.

We praise God for His provision and protection through all the traveling from point A to point B. He is always faithful!

Our prayer during this conference is that we would see what God wants us to see, hear what He wants us to hear, and do what He wants us to do so we can pour it out to our local leaders and continue raising up leaders in every location through North Siargao Surf and Skate Kids.

Please continue to pray and partner with us as we invest in the next generation and use surfing and skateboarding as tools to share the LOVE of JESUS.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

This is one of those beautiful Praise Report moments, tiny miracles adding up in the most amazing way.

We’ve been praying for both short-term and long-term volunteers, and over the past months, God has faithfully been sending people as we began planting in our 3rd location, Tangbo.

While I was on the way to Tangbo, I asked God, “Who will provide skateboards?”… and He answered right away.
For the first time, Surf and Skate with a Mission received skateboards! 2 boards that we can now use for our Skate Mission Outreach in other locations.
We’re believing and praying for more to come!

A huge thank you to Dylan & Margaux from France. God used them not only to give skateboards, but also to volunteer and serve with us. Together, we were able to teach skateboarding to 30 kids.

We are also so grateful for all our supporters who made it possible to provide snacks for 6 different Skate Days in Tangbo and Pacifico. Your generosity is truly changing lives!

We still have 5 locations left in the northern part of Siargao Island, and we’re excited for what God will continue to do.

Please continue to pray and partner with us. Together, we will reach the NEXT GENERATION for JESUS!

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20
