📢 This Saturday, Dec. 14th from 2-6pm, there's an open studio day at the SRU Studios/Where.Haus building, of which my work studio is a part.

Hunter & I'll be there in my studio if you wanna come by to say hullo 👋🏻, and you can check out real artists (unlike moi) and their studios 👩‍🎨 there are painters, ceramiscists, designers, printers, writers, fashion folks, and cocktail artists 🍸, and more.

Some folks are doing demos and also making pieces available for purchase.

There will also be cocktails 🍷 available.

Today is day 5!!!!!!!

The bruising on my leg right now is beautiful and I’m no longer taking the opioids, so sometimes I can feel the deep ache where a screw is holding bone in place. Other times I feel nothing at all, which is an insane and beautiful miracle. The procedure went perfectly according to Ash, who heard that from my surgeon while I was still unconscious. I’ve washed my face twice, gone outside once, and consumed 7 popsicles. Ash has kept me fed and on track with meds even at 4am and cleaned every dish and retrieved every dumb thing from four feet away for me because I can’t reach. She is the hero of week 1 and I invite you to send her love from wherever you may be.

Happy new knee to all who celebrate

Very special thanks to this wonderful group of artists!! As we wrap up this exhibition, I’m in awe of the splendor and peculiarity each artist brought to the table. I have never had such a collaborative installation experience. This made for very organic conversation between the works and an air of eclecticism in the show.
