documenting ⛓️‍💥⛓️‍💥 here for mi archives__ sigil work / ancestral seal in honor of a theory I coined on this day a few years ago as a call & response to the prescriptive nature of Afropessism called Afromediation - an afro indigenous perspective on pathways to soothe genocidal wounds, map to reconnect w/ one’s ancestral counsel, non linear meadows dedicated to transmute unimaginable grief within genealogy, etc etc. A subjective playground to experiment with the ways in which we can acknowledge, honor and tend to collective wounds etched into our bloodlines brought on by displacement, cultural erasure, ecocide, genocide and enslavement. Pulled from pools of theories including: Ubuntu centered practices, Dagara ritualisms, Post Human Theory by Rose Braidotti, Bantu Kongo cosmology, Plantationocene, Capitalocene, Chthuluscene by Donna Hathaway, Afropessimism, Schizoanalysis / Anti-Oedipus Perspectives, Toni MF Morrison & my own Ethical Non Monogamy / Relationship Anarchy / Polyamory practice 🫦🍓🌬️ xx thank u @ssamdiorr for guiding a very special tribute to my ancestors and my breath 🪔‼️ I love love love my life’s work more than anything on this planet🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂 (Xcept for probably my Mom) (& Ziggy)
