Shakespeare’s witty story of disguise, desire, and reinvention lives afresh in the glamour and grit of 1930’s New York, where jazz plays on the streets and everyone is falling for the wrong person.

The shipwrecked Viola is separated from her twin brother Sebastian on the sea. Upon reaching dry land, she reinvents herself as a young man and finds work with the lovesick Duke Orsino. The Duke, hopelessly pining for the Countess Olivia, sends Viola to plead his case, and Olivia promptly falls for the disguised Viola instead. And if that wasn’t enough, Viola is secretly falling for Orsino!

When Sebastian unexpectedly arrives, the confusion reaches a fever pitch and everyone is forced to confront who they are, who they think they love, and who they have been pretending to be.

This joyful comedy is a celebration of love in all its confusion, madness and potential to reveal and heal.  Twelfth Night

i love a cheesy caption !!! my first year at the academy exceeded every expectation my teeny tiny brain could have fathomed. obviously i knew i would grow as an actor and artist, but what i value most is the way i have explored and found who i am as a person. my respect and love for this craft - and for myself - continues to develop, and i am ecstatic to continue to cultivate my passion, creativity, and artistry during second year; i cannot wait to go farther and farther! and on top of all of that, i have met so many amazing people and made so many important friendships !!! i cannot express how lucky i am. excited for the summer, excited for second year, excited for the future !!!!!!!! miss you already, new york. see you soon <3

Favorite subject: Learning how to be me!
Turns out, that’s what acting is (ironically) all about. I’m growing and being challenged in all the right ways. Grateful for the path I’m on and the people sharing it with me! Rest up and have a wonderful summer, everyone.💛
