MAJIN MATCH | AL AGENCY

Founded in 2025 by Salma Mousa @mshsalma, Al Agency @al__agency is Palestine’s first dedicated talent agency for models and actors from the MENA region. At its core, al-Agency is driven by the belief that representation is not a trend but a necessity and focuses on discovering, developing and promoting homegrown talent on a global stage. It offers a space where Palestinian and Arab identity is not flattened but celebrated and amplified.

The name al Agency comes from the Arab definite article which is one of the most recognizable markers of the Arabic language. “I wanted something that carries an Arab spirit without relying on tired or orientalist clichés. Two letters are enough to assert an Arab presence while still feeling global and contemporary”, Salma explains in an interview with Mille.

With a curated roster of distinctive faces and voices, the agency connects creatives with casting directors, production companies, fashion houses, and cultural institutions that value originality and integrity. Among its represented actors is Sofia Asir, featured in Marvel’s Moon Knight (2022) or Salma Malhas, who rose to prominence in Netflix’s first Arabic original series Jinn (2019).

Al Agency isn’t just about visibility but about infrastructure and redistributing access, creating systems of support and connection for its talents across borders. How do you provide opportunities for Palestinians who are scattered around the globe?

With its focus on depth, care and continuity “al-Agency has been the catalyst that the Arab world needs towards reaching the levels that we deserve in the fashion and artistic communities”, Laith Naouri, one of the represented models, reflects.
