Well this was amazing!🙂 What a gift to be able to help with this beautiful animal and get it back to its family! “LeRoy” was found on the ground in a roadway by S&S limo in LeRoy about a week ago and was not moving. It may have taken an early leap, been pushed, or blown out of its nest on top of a cell tower. A Good Samaritan stopped to protect it, another scooped it up and drove it to WNY Raptor and Wildlife Care, Inc. A wildlife veterinarian and veterinary technician (Dr. Slote and Jimmy) gave it a wellness check and noted everything was fine👍. LeRoy did not move much the first day and stayed huddled on the ground. We had to hand feed it twice a day its favorite meal🐠. By the end of a week, LeRoy was flying high in its enclosure on its own. Today it was time to reunite it in the same area as its family! We watched it take off and then later soar over Lake Oatka near Red Bridge. This lucky osprey family has Earth angels rooting for the success of these juvies !

Side note: The parents return every year to this tower! The juveniles will stay in the wintering grounds south for a year or two before eventually returning to the vicinity in which they were born 💕😊

One of our favorite parts of a wedding day is watching the people who show up to celebrate. The hugs, the happy tears, the laughter during speeches, and the way friends and family surround a couple with so much love and support.

These two were so genuine and kind, and it was easy to see how loved they are by everyone around them. Getting to capture not just their love story, but the relationships that have helped shape it, is something we’ll never take for granted.

What a beautiful day to be a part of. 🤍
