I wanna runaway to the CITY OF THON🎗️

Another 46 hours + entrance plan done.

This year THON was different, this year I got to experience both sides of the story, the floor and the stands.

I got to see the real struggles that people don’t see, the mental battles and the physical struggles that the dancers go through from either the start or Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Being able to see both perspectives made it so inspiring to keep myself going and those around me as well.

I want to give a big shoutout to @mayaadalessandro for giving me one of her digital passes. It was truly an honor and i couldn’t be more prouder of her, she did everything possible to keep me and herself positive and lastly @slonergann and @jayden_mattis our Alpha Phi Omega dancers, I am truly inspired by you guys and seeing yall strive this weekend made me so proud of being part of this organization, our team and support is incredible and y'all represented us well.

THON it’s bigger than being tired. Bigger than being uncomfortable. Bigger than yourself.

Getting a floor pass and stepping into that space changed the entire experience for me. Thank you Maya for making that happen. And thank you to Alpha Phi Omega for the best 46 hours.

No sitting. No sleeping. Just showing up for something greater.
