closing.

it’s amazing how quickly something that becomes such a huge part of your life suddenly reaches the end.

this production of Rock of Ages has been one of the most rewarding experiences i’ve ever been a part of. every rehearsal, every late night, every laugh backstage, every standing ovation, every fourth-wall break, and every moment on that stage reminded me exactly why i love doing what i do.

playing Drew again has been such a gift. revisiting this role with a completely new group of artists allowed me to discover so many new moments, and i truly feel like i’ve grown so much because of this experience.

more than anything, it’s the people that i’ll miss.

to michael, danny, joey, kaity, kevin, our incredible creative team, band, crew, and everyone behind the scenes: thank you for creating a space where we could do our best work while genuinely enjoying every step of the process. thank you for reminding us that MAKING GREAT THEATRE SHOULD ALSO BE FUN!!!

to this cast: thank you for every laugh, every memory, your generosity, and for becoming a true family. sharing the stage with each of you has been an absolute treasure.

to olivia: thank you for encouraging me to even audition in the first place. no one has ever believed in me the way that you do and it is felt every single day. i LOVE YOUUUUU!!!!!!!

and to everyone who came to see us: thank you. your energy and support meant more than you know. live theatre only exists because audiences choose to spend their time with us, and that is never something that artificial intelligence can recreate.

this company made every rehearsal and every performance something i genuinely looked forward to. i couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to share this experience with.

until next time,

♥️🎸
