18 years since our first “friendship dinner”. (Not a “date” until after dinner #4 … screenplay coming soon. 😉)
16 years married in our backyard - a surprise wedding (not to us and our family!) for our friends so they could just show up to a party and have fun. In our backyard under our magical 150 yr old bald-cypress.
.
My gratitude and love for you and our journey together is deep as the ocean.
.
Cheers to many more magical years @paynester2021 . 🥰😘🙏
.
One of my favorite moments is this - listening to @sstolen57 serenading us… accompanied by @garwalt524 🙏🥰❤️
.
Still so grateful for all who were there to witness and all who support us every day. 🙏🥰😘

Months in the making, the annual @irtlive Celebrity Radio Show was a roaring success! From an awesome co-chair in @hoosiertfarm and our engaged committee, to the devoted staff and volunteers… to the “Boom Baby! Hoosier All Star Now!?” theme, script, jingles and punchlines brought to life by our celebrity cast, to nearly 500 attendees and dozens of sponsors who invested in this fundraising effort… we are grateful for each of you!

Already dreaming of what @rgifford77 will dream up for next year’s show and working with our all star committee to bring the event to life.⭐️

Sixth-grade-Wicked-fanatic me was made proud today! Cannot believe how fortunate I am to have shared this stage with such beautiful and brilliant TALENT! Everyone’s work was so amazing and I couldn’t be more honored to have been able to stand among and perform alongside you! Thank you to @iuhillel, especially Amanda and Eric, for putting on this beautiful event and thank you to @that_opera_singer for your excellent vocal instruction! And, most of all, thank you to my family (both biological and otherwise) that supported me tonight! I am so grateful for each and every one of you all! Truly, words cannot describe.
Sincerely,
Indiana’s Campus Superstar 2023

Hi 👋 I want to post about how it’s been going. I’ve been going through a depression because of how inactive I’ve been in art and how long it’s been since I was home in the Philippines (5 yrs now).

I never stopped painting but as things started to slow down over Covid, how my return home kept getting delayed, and how I’m not very good at keeping in touch, I just felt like I got further and further from who I used to be. I started to feel disconnected from everyone and everything I knew. I felt like I let everyone who I cared about down, including myself.

I entered into so many ventures that failed, things that I promised I would do but ended up not completing any of them because of money, time, inexperience, etc etc etc

I’ve given myself permission to slow down. I realized that the most caring thing I can do for myself is to forgive, and to rest.

Since I’ve done that I’ve been healthier, mentally and physically. I’ve found the courage to open up, and to not always be so so so sorry that I haven’t been around, because let’s face it, I didn’t have the strength or courage to at the time. I crawled into a hole and stayed there. And you know what? That’s okay. I needed it. A lot happened.

So part of the update is I was selected for my first ever artist-in-residence in Fishers, IN. This is the place where I’m re-learning to paint and reconnecting. This is the biggest most beautiful studio I probably ever had. It’s like being in a fucking spaceship. I teach classes and have open studios and they provide everything for me. It’s a very healing place for me. If ya’ll happen to be in the area, stop by and we’ll chat and paint together. Sorry, no booze. It’s in the basement of a public library so we gotta keep it PG-13.

That’s all folks! Maybe you’ll hear from me in another year ✌️
