Reps looking a little different these days 🏋️‍♂️⚽️

Since retiring from competitive bodybuilding officially in January of this year, I've spent the last few months working on a new goal of mine - getting back into the original passion ⚽️ Here are some highlights from my morning session with the 🐐 @sstraining2026

Adjusting to this form of functionality again rather than 2-dimensional bodybuilding training was tricky to get back into at first as I dusted off the cobwebs but feels so much better each passing day. I still dedicate 3-4x strength sessions in the gym per week to keep a healthy and functioning body with weight training, but my workouts don't look nearly how they did even just 6 months ago when training explicitly for hypertrophy.

I've gotten out more since moving to Florida and joined a local club and some small sided leagues, having such a good time. Gonna make an effort to make some content if I feel it regarding those.

Overall the most important thing to me nowadays is to be healthy, functional and keeping longevity in mind. I want to play ball with my kids and not shatter my bones when I fall over. Cheers to preparing for that
