@maketheroadnv took a party bus to vote today and honestly, it was the best way to kick off early voting. Neighbors, families, and Make the Road Nevada members, turned the music up, and rode to East Las Vegas Cardenas together. Some of us were voting for the first time. All of us were glad we didn’t have to do it alone. Early voting goes until October 30. Grab your people and go together. It’s more fun that way. Junta a tu gente y vayan juntos. Así es más bonito.

Late Post Alert 🚨 I'm grateful to have represented Faith Organizing Alliance (FOA) at the Ballot Questions 6 & 7 Forum on September 19th at Spring Valley Library. 🗳️ I had the opportunity to present on Nevada Question 7, discussing the proposed voter identification requirements and the potential concerns and impacts this could have on Nevadans. I was also honored to join the panel alongside representatives from PLAN Action, Good Trouble Las Vegas, and Silver State Voices, contributing to an important conversation about Questions 7 and what it could mean for our communities. A special thank you to the League of Women Voters of Nevada for helping organize and bring this forum together. Creating spaces where people can learn, ask questions, and engage in meaningful civic conversations is important work. Proud to have represented FOA and to continue doing my part to help make sure our communities are informed and engaged. Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in the conversation. 🙏🏾 #FaithOrganizingAlliance #FOA #NeVamily #Question7

Today, we're celebrating the incredible efforts from our state tables and their partners on National Voter Registration Day! The events were creative and effective. They met their communities where they are at -- in front of grocery stores, street corners, and so many other places. Over 500,000 new voters were registered across the country on National Voter Registration Day this year. Exercise your voter power today by verifying your voter registration status at https://www.ballotready.org/ #NVRD #NationalVoterRegistrationDay #NVRD2026

Yesterday, in a procedural vote, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to keep working on its plan to have the United States Postal Service decide who receives a mail-in ballot. Let's be clear: today's ruling does not affect any voter's ability to cast a mail-in ballot. The Supreme Court's decision says nothing about whether the President may lawfully set the rules for how Americans vote–because the Constitution clearly states that he cannot. We do not take this lightly — this is a continued pattern of authoritarian behavior and the federal government will continue to do everything it can to push this farfetched plan forward. But for now we assure you that this does not affect your ability to cast a mail-in ballot in this upcoming election. So please vote! Vote For Something that matters to you. Vote early, Vote Loud!! #VoteforSomething #Vote #VoteEarly #VotebyMail Graphic with a blue background and yellow borders. Text states "Reminder: State and local election officials —not the federal government —run U.S. elections." State Voices logo at the bottom of the graphic.

Yesterday, the House passed an insider trading Trojan horse for voter ID. Nevada Representatives Horsford and Titus both voted no, with Representative Lee and Amodei voting for the measure. Advocates responded to raise awareness around voter ID ahead of the 2026 Election.

Tonight, President Trump will reportedly address the nation to declassify documents related to the 2020 election. More than 60 courts, including judges appointed by Trump himself, have already looked at his false claims about the 2020 election and rejected them. The courts have upheld the integrity of our election system and the results of the 2020 election.
