Mannnnnn it’s going to be weird as hell being at the UC and not being able to go over and chop it up with my big homie after the game. But the Bulls couldn’t be honoring a better person. Best believe I will be at Stacey King’s Celebration Night! Long live the King 👑 ♾️

August and this summer is about done. August felt quite active while having to play catch-up from being sick throughout July into early August. I got to catch up with buddies and even a former student of mine. We’ve had a # of severe weather outbreaks , people getting sick, and a lot of weird energy misalignments. Needless to say, I’m ready for Fall and for some level of stability.

I am glad August is safely concluding and that I was able to have some fun along the way. Here’s a thirst trap to begin this August carousel of posts.

Super proud to share that I’m part of the Fanatics Fan Advisory Network as the Chicago Bulls Team Lead.

Community has always been at the center of what I do.

Years ago, I created one of the first Bulls communities on Twitter before the Bulls had their own official one. That eventually led to me moderating the official Chicago Bulls community, then collaborating with the organization on various projects.

Since then, there’s been podcasting, watch parties, 70+ United Center outings, Bulls & Sky home openers, direct collabs w/ both teams, opportunities throughout Chicago sports with other teams as well and most recently, building a community called The Fourth Space.

I never did any of it because I thought it would lead to something, it was because I loved it and as a result, the dots keep connecting.

This season has taught me about faith, alignment and staying open to where the things you care about can take you.

It’s reminded me that nobody gets anywhere alone. Every opportunity I’ve had has someone else’s fingerprints on it. Someone opened a door, believed in me, made an introduction or gave me a chance. Huge s/o to Sully for believing in me. It’s been such an honor to know you, plus it’s been so fun building w/ you and the amazing team you’ve assembled!

That’s also why I’m always thinking about who I can connect, bring into a room or create an opportunity for too.

One of the things I’m proudest of is that when I became Team Lead, I asked if I could build my own team, and they trusted me to do it. ❤️

Got to add Mina, Danny, Brenda and Gilty to the squad!

We weren’t done making moves yet either because we just officially signed Nik in free agency who I’m also really excited to work with.

FAN is about giving real fans a seat at the table and a voice in how @fanatics serves the communities we love, and I’m really grateful to be part of it.

No perfect plan - just following what I love, learning as I go and trying to build good things with good people.

Grateful for everyone who opened a door for me and even more grateful to have the ability to keep opening doors too. ❤️🖤

Through every high, every low, every change, and every version of ourselves, I still choose you.

I choose you when things are easy, when they’re hard, and in every version of the life we’re building together.

Somewhere along the way, you stopped being just the woman I fell in love with—you became home. My best friend, my peace, my person. The one I think about when I think about tomorrow, because I can’t imagine it without you in it.

Two years ago, I knew I loved you.

Today, I understand what that truly means.

It means choosing, forgiving, growing, listening, and fighting for each other. It means looking at everything we’ve survived and still saying, “Give me more years with you.”

I don’t need no perfect love story—I just want ours.

Every beautiful, complicated, imperfect, unforgettable part of it.

And one day, when we look back on the life we built with grey hairs and all, I hope we remember these years as the ones where we didn’t have everything figured out—but we still had each other.
