Chef @chefhoyrtee launched our summer season with serious flavor 🔥 We’re still dreaming about those Shrimp Beignets 🤤 The energy in the room was insane! You really had to be there but these pics come pretty close close. Tap through to feel the vibe!!

Last month, I left Gage & Tollner where I started my new career in pastry 2.5 years ago. When I decided to change careers and go to pastry school I knew I wanted to work in the restaurant industry, but didn’t know I would find a home in the very first restaurant I trailed in. This restaurant is filled with amazing people who have made a great impact on me over the last couple of years and I’m extremely grateful for the laughs, family meals, endless trays of Parker house rolls, and more! Love you G&T fam! 🫶🫶🫶 Also LOL this song played everyday in the basement and it’ll always remind me of the kitchen 🤪

As for my next chapter, I’m taking a break from restaurants to explore a new adventure as a freelance pastry chef and food styling assistant! If you have a fun food project, let’s chat!

Meet Stacey Young (@staceyy.young)! Originally from Newman, California, Stacey joined the pastry team at Gage & Tollner in 2023 and now splits her time between sweet and savory cooking at the restaurant. She currently lives in Park Slope, and has a three year-old pet turtle named Stacie who road tripped across the US with her!
