We found the cutest pumpkins in the patch! 🧡

Our Purposeful Parenting families enjoyed such a fun fall day at @mcgrathgreatpacificpumpkins ! We had 45 people and explored the corn maze, rode the tractor to visit the farm animals, there was so much to enjoy… even Teddy, our facility puppy at James Storehouse, had a smile! And of course, everyone got to pick out the perfect pumpkin to take home! 🎃

We truly love creating opportunities for our parents and children to have fun together, make special memories, and strengthen their bond. These are the moments that matter!

This week, we had the incredible honor of celebrating a very special milestone with Priscilla, a member of both our Road to Resilience and Open Table Mentorship programs.

Priscilla has shown incredible courage and determination as she has taken ownership of her recovery and worked toward building a brighter future for herself and her son. When she first began her journey, she made the decision to sell her car to remove any temptation that could interfere with her recovery.

This week, we were honored to help put the keys back in her hands. 🔑

This car represents so much more than transportation; it represents freedom, opportunity, perseverance, and a new chapter. We are incredibly proud of how far Priscilla has come and grateful to walk alongside her as she continues to build a life filled with hope and possibility.

And what made this moment even more special? She was surrounded by her Open Table mentors, the people who have continued to encourage, support, and believe in her along the way.

Priscilla, we are so proud of you! Your story is one of resilience, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you.🩵

Meet Teddy Bear.

Our 8-week-old Australian Labradoodle puppy and the reason our camera roll is reaching new limits.

One day, Teddy Bear will become the James Storehouse Facility Dog, bringing comfort, connection, and support as part of our programs for children, teens, and families.

But for now… he’s a very squishy full-time puppy in training.

One special Puppy. A great foundation. A lifetime of possibilities. If you’re looking for a Puppy, who already has a Headstart with professional training, Izzy may be your girl. She is affectionate, outgoing, resilient, eager to learn and has a lovely ability to go from play to calm. Izzy is a beautiful four month old Australian Labradoodle estimated to be 30 pounds as an adult. She is non-shedding. We would love for her new family to continue the training we’ve started, if they’re interested, explore the possibility of Therapy work as she matures.

We had the privilege of giving away our 7th car this year to a very deserving young adult! This car will help her get to work without having to plan around public transportation schedules and will help invest in her future as she pursues a higher education.

We’re so excited for you and can’t wait to see how you continue to thrive! Please leave a word of encouragement for her below! 🚘
