american dance festival’s 2026 season has officially come to a close :(

it has been an incredible learning experience and wild time. fourteen hours a day learning alongside and from the best crew i could ask for while we recount gels, party in the basement and put our remaining brain cells together inside our trench coats. i’ve spent my entire life being on the stage to now finding the most rewarding work putting it all together for others to shine. thank you to all of my trench coats and fellows interns, ADF and Duke staff, as well as the amazing companies that we got to work with - you have filled these two months with many learning experiences, what to do and what not to do and have expanded my dreams further. 🫶🏻✨

Not tagged but thoroughly loved: @jlrr._ ❤️ (I hit the tagging limit) 😫
I had to make my first ADF post about the incredible people I met here. I could go on and on about how fun, sweet, and talented each of my crewmates were and I have not felt such a strong sense of community and mutual care in so long. This was literally the crew + ME team + PSM team from heaven, truly the best people to crash out, count gel, and coil cables with. :) I cannot wait to see how everyone here changes the arts world for the better with their dedication, passion, and above average whimsy.

I already miss everyone so so much 🥲🖤🩵🤍

School trip! In March of 2024 my fellow tech theatre students and I got the incredible opportunity to go on a trip to the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT). There was a giant expo with all kinds of theatre technology, workshops where we could try out equipment, colleges to talk to, and so much more! A highlight for me was learning to solder (look at that excited face!) but the entire trip was so fun and I’m so grateful to my school for supporting things like this. I hope to go back someday!

Fun day at Yokayo where the fire alarms went off because the power came back on. It was great. Then we went to the park. I love these crackheads❤
