Who’s excited spooky seasons has landed?!

We will be hosting a walk in day on Saturday the 31st October from 10am!!

There will be a selection of flash, treats and maybe even some tricks. We fully encourage costumes, who doesn’t want a chance to be someone else for the day?!

Keep an eye out for our tattooers posting their flash in the coming days!!

My word, what a weekend. Immeasurably massive, true, golden, honest and wonderful thank you to everyone who came by this weekend. Double that thanks to all our staff who made this weekend possible. Busiest weekend we've ever had by a very longshot.
Big individual thank you to @lewislikescoffee at @anchorheadcoffee and @threecoffeesnolunch at @frankie.coffee and @hambonehammond at @outbreakcoffeeco for sorting us out with quite definitely and unquestionably the best coffee possible. Folk went absolutely nuts for those Frankie tins and the Anchorhead green apple co-ferment, the cold brew cans kept me going all weekend. Extra special thanks to @stallan_ for the very, very cool coffee tattoo flash.
We've only ever had one event previously at the bakery, at the time the space wasn't ready for such a thing and I wasn't ready. I've never been happy with how it went and I think that's why we've never celebrated anniversaries or special days or birthdays or anything. I'm not sure how best to articulate how I felt about this weekend- I wanted it to be a big blowout spectacular once in a generation event so all the work would be worth it but at the same time I wanted it to be super chill and low-key so no one got their expectations up. Something about living up to the hype or expectations of a big event gives me intense fear and anxiety, I'd rather not do anything special and fun cause I end up worrying it's not special or fun enough. Does that make sense?
But I certainly feel this weekend has been special and fun and I hope you do too. I want to do it again- maybe next year? Make it bigger and better? Get more coffee shops and coffee roasters and artists and creators involved? Make it the biggest coffee festival in the UK?

Schmaltz Brew Co: Tropic’ull Launch Party

Please join @henrybeercock & Lauren Beercock as we launch Hull’s first ever alcohol free brewery, starting with our first beer: Tropic ull. 🍍🌴💀

We have been busy working on this for over a year now and the time is finally here to share with you all. We hope you like it as much as we do.

So why don’t you come and have a skeg and see what we’ve been brewing?

FOOD: We encourage everyone to try the food from @atombarhull @hull_pattie_shack - Amazing street food with a twist. They will be slinging out some Hull classics on the evening so be sure to grab something whilst you can.

DRINK: Of course we would love for you to only drink a crispy delicious can or pint of Tropic ull but we understand people like choice so there will be a great range of other craft beers available on the evening Alc & Low Alc options.

We only have a limited amount of tickets left, so be quick if you don’t want to miss out.

LET'S GOOOOOOOO 15 & 16.08.2026 BANDIT DAYS COFFEE FESTIVAL 🔥🔥🔥 we've got 2 of the coffee world's heaviest heavy hitters dropping at the bakery and we have to celebrate such a beautiful and wonderful thing, thank you for joining us @anchorheadcoffee and @outbreakcoffeeco.
Anchorhead are coming all the way from Seattle (I mean, the beans are- the good folk themselves are staying over there) and if you don't know them then what's up with that? Coffee roasters running at the peak of the game, the very best of the best, award winning, highly praised, much loved. We're going to have a crazy green apple co-ferment on filter and a gorgeous light roast espresso option. And we have a carefully and tastefully selected lineup of retail beans for y'all to take home and although I fucking hate it when folk give it all that "get here quick cause once it's gone, it's gone" but if the shoe fits amirite?
As if the best filter and espresso options Aberdeen has definitely ever seen wasn't enough we have @outbreakcoffeeco coming in like a wrecking ball with a silky nitro cold brew can of joy AND a retail option that's going to light yr fire. Very, very good people that I have a lot of love for.
Ok, that is definitely, truly the best coffee scene ever seen in Aberdeen right? how about we take this to the next level with an exclusive, one weekend only exquisitely tailored menu of bakes that will perfectly pair with the coffee menu?
How about we bring back our most requested bake, the Bandit Bagel? And we'll even fill them with a bonkers menu of vegan cream cheeses, just for YOU.
Oh, and how about exclusive coffee flash from an absolute tattoo titan, @stallan_ ?
Even if you don't like coffee (ok, that's yr choice) this is guaranteed to definitely be the greatest moment in Aberdeen food and drink. Let's go.

Plant based croissants filled with fancy Nutella filling- toasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate, brown sugar, butter. They look so good they might be fake but I assure they are both real and really delicious. Outstanding work from @kel.belles, outstanding sign design from @stallan_, my shadow in the 3rd slide kinda looks like an octopus is taking the photo lol.

I don’t manage or have access to the diaries, queries or booking for any of our tattooers, they do it themselves. So please reach out to whoever you’re keen for a tattoo from directly, or any queries about your appointments should be directed to your artist.

I’m more than happy to suggest if you’re unsure, but all of our guys are versed in all styles of tattoos!! So your choice isn’t limited!!

It may take some time for me to reply to msgs through the @nevermind.abdn page because I do so at the end of my work day, mainly because I’m tattooing all day, so replies generally can be late!! 🐌

Our studio is owned, ran by and loved by myself and @kerpunx and we do everything from the cleaning, ordering, admin and all the behind the scenes stuff you don’t even know is part of running a shop, it really is a full time job on top of our full time tattooing job. And we wouldn’t have it any other way 💚
