Mega project with @arvid.lindblad to launch his new helmet.

The brief was to tell the story behind the design in under 60 seconds.

We wanted to keep it raw and doc-style, but also bring in some funky camera movements and lenses to keep it fresh + engaging throughout.

šŸŽ¬ Full BTS breakdown coming very soon on @stampproductions page so go and give us a follow.

Modern camera. Vintage TV lens.

Here’s how we adapted a vintage TV zoom lens to a Sony FX6 full-frame camera. It takes a little DIY, but the character you get in return is worth every minute.

We’re always looking for tools that bring a unique look to our films-not just the newest gear.

Have you shot with vintage glass before?

Working with athletes 101

Whether it’s a feature documentary or a short-form social piece, vibes on set are everything. šŸŽ¬

One of the things we pride ourselves on at @stampproductions is creating a fun, welcoming environment for the athletes we work with.

And it’s that approach that’s led to so much of our strongest content and campaigns.

Like our film with @maxverstappen1 which became Red Bull Motorsport’s best peforming YouTube video of all time a few years back. šŸŽ„šŸ“ˆ

If an athlete is having a good time shooting with you, you can be sure the content you make with them will be better.

🚨 UPDATE on the doc!!

Since I wrapped shooting a few weeks ago, I’ve had heaps of messages asking for a sitrep on the film.

And the TLDR is: I’m editing it right now.

The reason I’ve been quiet is that the project has slowly been growing.

From a 15-minute character portrait into a fully fledged 60-minute feature documentary.

And with that comes an enormous time comitment.

For reference, I’m sitting on over 8TB of footage. Literally hundreds of hours of unseen material spanning 2.5 years.

Plus almost 2 decades of archive.

Half the battle has just been wrestling all of the scenes and plotlines into the right structure.

But I’ve found a winner. And I’m piecing it all together as we speak.

In fact, I’m actually looking at distribution options.

My elevator pitch is this:
A gripping story of one of the most unorthadox, underrated and misunderstood fighters in the sport. A documentary that pits theatre against authenticity, and gives viewers a truly unique perspective on what it’s like to fight in the @ufc.
