DEFINITELY need to post about the EPIC 2 homecoming shows of TOOL last week! MY GOD! The guys played thunderously every second on stage! The new songs are DEFINITELY best experienced live as they're incredible showcases of the bands muscular music chops! Rosetta Stoned both nights was also wonderfully psychadelic n sweet! Even though I wish we were more free to use our devices, I TOTALLY enjoyed the experience WAY more! The cherry on top was hanging out with great friends, running into some concert regulars, and just chatting up anything with other like minded fans! Incredibly grateful for @toolmusic @cryptocomarena for an amazing 2 days! 🤘🤘 #tool #toolarmy

Hello critters, friends, and foes of the interwebs. It's been quite a while since I released anything, so here's a little midweek gift from me to you ♥♫ A lil dark and moody lyric video that was put together for my original song "Muse" featuring my buddy and fellow musician, Gary Chris Gossman of Standard Jack.

"Muse" is, ironically, a song about struggling to find motivation or inspiration to create and/or publish more of our own art. But I feel as though that spell is slowly losing its hold on me, and work for the next chapter of my music has already begun.

Please share with anyone you think may enjoy! (for fans of alt rock, blues rock, indie)

Full video is available on the "FiveSidedDice" youtube channel, and the link will be in my story for a day or two 🎸❤️🔥 Aweh

Hey y'all! Gary here of Standard Jack 👋🏻

I was born in Johannesburg and grew up mostly in Port Elizabeth, where I became active in the local music scene. When I was 17, 1 played my first ever gig at Jesters with my high school band "A Heart Lies Bleeding". From there, I went on to join bands like Circular Drive and opened for The Parlotones, Gangs of Ballet, Zebra and Giraffe, and other local legends.

Standard Jack started out under the name "Iridescent" where we played at venues like Pool City Walmer and The Music Kitchen before an opportunity came up for me to move to New Zealand. While living there, I recorded a five track EP entitled "Lost", shot a music video in Desert Road (a filming location for Lord of the Rings), and played shows with a live band of incredibly talented musicians in the NZ music scene.

The "Lost" EP was mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone, two Grammy-winning engineers who have worked with John Lennon, David Bowie, The Ramones, Taylor Swift, and countless others.

Recent events have brought me to Los Angeles, where I've been adjusting to the culture and working on writing new music while I find my footing in one of the biggest music scenes the world has to offer. My music is inspired by my experiences of the world around me. It is a way for me to express and make sense of my thoughts and feelings, in the hopes that it resonates with others. The "Lost" EP covers themes of
existentialism, mental health, isolation and navigating difficult times, and I hope it can provide some solace to listeners experiencing some of life's more challenging aspects.

The full EP and music video are available for streaming through the link in Standard Jack's bio! I hope you'll enjoy it 🖤

Peace and love 🤘🏻❤️
