Sound on. No music. Just me, my injection, and the reality of this journey.

Last Tuesday was injection day. These needles never get easier. A minor heart attack a few weeks ago, a lymph node issue, ongoing treatments… sometimes it feels like everything in my body is asking for strength at once.

If I’ve been quiet on here, I’ve been trying to understand what’s happening in my body—and give my head time to process it, too. Connecting the two takes work.

Nine hospital visits last month. At $25 a visit for parking alone, that’s $225. The financial weight is real, alongside the emotional, physical, and spiritual exhaustion.

But I still smile. I still work. I still look forward. A smile doesn’t mean this is easy. Sometimes it means I’m holding on to the light with everything I’ve got.

My faith in God, the love of Christ, and the good people beside me keep me moving. And being headstrong means giving myself room to rest and feel it all, too.

These needles are tough. I’ve proved I’m tougher. 💪

I have a CT scan in November. Please put your hands together and say a prayer for Mr. Anderson—for strength, peace, and good news. 🙏

One love, everyone. Thank you for standing with me. Please follow, share, and visit the Angus Anderson Foundation website to subscribe and stay connected:

Happy 4th birthday, Cecilia! 🎂💖 My little stepdaughter, my best friend, my little bud.

After everything life has brought me, I never expected to step into this role again. But watching you grow has been such a beautiful, rewarding gift.

Being a dad to my own children has brought so much love, along with struggles that I’m still healing from. But painful experiences don’t take away our ability to love. Every day, I’m learning to give new love room to grow without letting the past take over.

You remind me how much it means to be needed, trusted, and loved. I thank God for you and for the chance to be part of your life—to cheer you on, help you learn, and watch you become your own little person.

Have the best birthday at kindergarten today, little bud! Keep laughing, learning, and shining. I love you, Cecilia. ❤️🎈

🎤 I just want to be your spotlight.

The past few weeks have brought pain, challenges, and some beautiful moments too. Through it all, I still completed the Tough Mudder—and I’m still standing, still singing, and still holding on to the light.

Life isn’t always fair. Sometimes it gets dark, and sometimes being alone takes more strength than anyone realizes. But if you ever need a light, I’m here. You never have to fight completely alone.

I believe everything happens for a reason. Even cancer became part of my purpose—it showed me just how strong the human spirit can be and gave me a reason to fight for others.

So yeah… I’m belting this shit out.

Hold on to the light. Keep fighting. Keep smiling. And whatever happens—never give up. 💚

2026 TREE OF LIFE CANCER RUN — THAT’S A WRAP. 💙🌳

Yesterday, the Angus Anderson Foundation completed another incredible Tree of Life Cancer Run at Tough Mudder Toronto.

These are only a few moments from an unforgettable day.

To every runner who stepped onto that course, every supporter who showed up, every volunteer who helped, every person who donated, and every sponsor who stood behind this mission — thank you.

You made this more than a race.

You made it a family.
You made it a community.
You helped turn one cancer survivor’s fight into something that continues to help others.

And now we look ahead.

2027 will mark the 5th Annual Tree of Life Cancer Run. 🌳🔥

So instead of asking us:

“What’s Tough Mudder like?”
“How hard is it?”
“Why do you guys do this?”

Come find out for yourself. Join us in 2027.

Within the next week, the Angus Anderson Foundation will launch its 2027 runner application page, and we want to build our biggest and strongest team yet.

As the Foundation continues to grow, we will also be looking for a select group of 2027 sponsors, along with volunteers, donors and community partners who believe in what we are building. Support for our programs, office, fundraising initiatives and long-term growth allows us to keep turning this mission into real help for people and families who need it.

Yesterday was the end of the 2026 run.

Today, Year Five begins.

To everyone who showed us love this year — thank you from the entire Angus Anderson Foundation family.

We hope to see you at the starting line in 2027.

NEVER GIVE UP.
MUD. SWEAT. RISE. 💙

🔥 LESS THAN ONE MONTH. ONE MISSION. LET’S MAKE IT COUNT. 🔥

On September 12, the Anderson Foundation takes on Tough Mudder Toronto for the 4th Annual Tree of Life Cancer Run.

But this is about a lot more than mud and obstacles.

🎗️ Every obstacle represents a battle.
❤️ Every name represents a story.
💙 Every donation helps us fight for someone else.

For four years, we’ve carried this mission forward for cancer fighters, survivors, families, mental health, and people who simply need someone in their corner.

Now we need YOU.

💰 DONATE — no amount is too small.
🏃 JOIN US — become part of Team Anderson Foundation.
📲 FOLLOW — help us grow this movement.
❤️ LIKE & SHARE — you never know whose life this message might reach.

You don’t have to run through the mud to be part of this fight.

Sometimes changing a life starts with $5, a share, a follow, or simply showing someone they aren’t alone.

We have less than a month.

Let’s show cancer who we are.

NEVER GIVE UP.

🌳 One Person. One Family. One Mission. One Smile at a Time.

Cleaned. Prepped. Ready. 💉
Had a little help from a friend tonight, and I’m thankful for that. 🙏

🚧 We’re building something bigger.

Over the last few months, we’ve been rebuilding the Anderson Foundation website from the ground up.

Not because the old one wasn’t working…

Because our mission has grown.

The new website is designed to better support our community, highlight our programs, welcome new volunteers, showcase our sponsors, and make it easier than ever to donate, register for events, and get involved.

Over the next day or two, you may notice the website changing while we complete the transition.

Once it’s live, we’d love your help.

💙 Visit the website.
💙 Click around.
💙 Try the forms.
💙 Let us know if you notice anything that doesn’t work or could be improved.

Every suggestion helps us build something better for the people we serve.

This foundation has always been built by the community, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.

Thank you for believing in our mission.

Changing the world, one smile at a time.

Some people measure success by what they own. Angus Anderson measures it by how many lives he can change.

After surviving cancer, multiple major surgeries, chemotherapy, and setbacks that would have made many people quit, Angus chose a different path. Instead of asking, “Why me?” he asked, “Who can I help?”

That question became the Angus Anderson Foundation.

Every donation helps provide real support to people facing cancer, mental health challenges, and life’s hardest moments. Sometimes it’s transportation to treatment. Sometimes it’s a meal. Sometimes it’s helping someone find hope again. Every dollar becomes an opportunity to remind someone they are not alone.

The Foundation has spent years doing the work that most people never see—earning charitable status, building partnerships, creating programs, and laying the foundation for something built to last.

Now it’s time to reach more people.

The mission has never changed:

Change the world… one smile at a time.

Angus isn’t giving up. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.

His fight against cancer became a fight for others.

Now he’s asking you to stand beside him.

Whether you donate $5 or $500, share this post, or simply tell someone about the Foundation, you’re becoming part of something much bigger than one person.

Because hope spreads.

Kindness spreads.

Love spreads.

And together… we can too.

❤️ Donate today.

Today wasn’t a good day.
Today wasn’t a bad day.

Today was a day that God gave me.

And after being told I had a 10% chance to live, I learned something most people spend a lifetime searching for…

Life isn’t about waiting for the perfect day.
It’s about being grateful for the day you’re given.

People call me a cancer survivor.

But the truth is, I survived cancer years ago.

Before that, I was surviving life.

Cancer wasn’t the end of my story.
It was the beginning of it.

Every sunrise is a blessing.
Every smile is a gift.
Every minute is borrowed time.

So today, I simply want to say:

God bless you.
Be kind.
Be grateful.
And don’t wait for a crisis to start living.

For 42 years, I survived. Now, I live. 🙏❤️

Scars like a shark. STORY OF INJECTIONS!☝️

Every scar tells a story. Every needle, every setback, every challenge reminds me that I’m still here.

This video was taken during one of my earlier injections. My mom was there by my side, the fish tank was glowing in the background, and the shark kept swimming like it always does—never stopping, never giving up.

That’s the lesson.

Life will test you. It will knock you down, wear you out, and make you question how much more you can take. But like that shark, you keep moving forward.

Tonight or tomorrow I start my injections again. Not because I want to, but because giving up was never an option.

To anyone fighting a battle nobody can see: keep going.

You are stronger than you think.
You have survived 100% of your worst days.
And your story isn’t over yet.

Never give up. Never surrender.
