Spent a beautiful summer in my hometown of St. Louis, working with local arts organizations. Most recently, I had the pleasure of serving as Musical Director for Blues In The Night at the St. Louis Black Repertory Company. With a klein aber fein cast and a stellar band, it’s no surprise our 3-week run was extended!

📸 Opening Night Highlights:

1. w/ mom

2. w/ De-Rance Blaylock (The Lady) & DeAndria

3. w/ Amber Rose (The Girl)

4. w/ Adrianna Jones(The Woman)

5. w/ Jerome Samuel Davis (The Man)

6. w/ jazz icon Denise Thimes (The Lady in the Black Rep’s first BITN)

7. Washington University’s Edison Theater

8. Founding Director Ron Himes and the amazing band: Bernard Long Jr. (drums), Willem van Hombracht (bass), Brady Lewis (trumpet), Stanley Coleman (reeds), and yours truly on piano 🎶

Thank you, St. Louis, for an unforgettable summer and all the incredible support!
