I became a regular viewer of their YouTube channel a few years ago and always wanted to meet and have a chat with them if I ever got the chance, and my dream came true last night on pit road at @charlottemotorspeedway

The NASCAR-Inspired Mustang is more than just some backyard project. We are honoring the legacy of my grandfather Hank the Crank. Seeing @stapleton42_ dissect a genuine NASCAR engine and unveiling my grandfather’s own bottom end assembly out of nowhere is amazing to experience and so out of left field. I hear about his crankshaft in the engines of race cars but I never get the chance to see them getting rebuilt. It’s a special moment to be able to verify that Grandpa was Premier Crankshaft builder. So to pay tribute, our 363 Stroker is being made up of some heavy duty high-performance components. Stay tuned🔥

Bobcat found a pretty good way to make me feel like a kid again.

Sent me this RetroViewer loaded with pictures from our Dallas trip. You look through it and there we are, standing together after a hot day running machines.

This is one of the coolest follow-up gifts I’ve gotten. It’s going on my desk.

This is something that’s only but a start, but something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time now. I want to try and give back as much as I can and I knew I just had to start.

I’ve struggled a majority of my own life with depression, feeling like I’m not enough, my internal monologue isn’t the nicest, and on the darker side ideations and invasive thoughts have periodically taken over my way of thinking.

Last year I hit a very dark spot, I got to a point where I couldn’t do it anymore so I opted to finally ask for help. Being able to was a blessing because I was out of my own depth. With everything that I’ve experienced over the years, losing friends, to a choice that’s crossed my own mind more than I ever wanted it to… I wanted to start this journey this week with a purpose and goal to start my own foundation to help those in need.

I’m going to share further, I’m going to open up, and be pretty vulnerable about all this because it’s time to. Most people at events or people who know me know how often I tell my friends I love them, now I can share this and we can all let reach other know even without saying it.
