Dylan’s turn-of-the-Century firefighter sleeve! Black, grey, & red. Adding the Japanese background felt like a natural addition to me what with the literal job of a firefighter being to spray water on a fire, but also the steam coming out of the engine made me think of Japanese clouds. All we needed was some thick black smoke (Japanese wind bars) and we were all set :)

Crazy cuff/elbow piece is healed!

Made at the world famous @starfolktattoos in beautiful Nashville, TN! 🌇🖤❤️

Grant started off like many of us. Only black & grey and more into the realism/neotraditional tattoo styles.

Over time and with more exposure to other kinds of tattoo he started to not love his more realistic tattoos.

Luckily, there was room on his sleeve to add more of what he prefers nowadays such as this scorpion. You’ll notice we also began to incorporate RED into his sleeve! 🩸

This #traditionalscorpiontattoo is kinda pinching his elbow and I like it! Love the red tail! 🖤

We also did this slight blastover of this crawling panther and after these two tattoos went into this old softer girl head piece and made it much more traditional looking with a solid outline and much more high-contrast shading :)

This sleeve is meant to match his hand which we completed a few months back 🦋

Hope you’re loving these new pieces @grant_donaldson1 !

Happy 3️⃣1️⃣ST birthday @sabrinatpadilla ! You’re the best and I love this group of folks! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🎉🎂🥳

(One tattoo here is not pictured because it was pretty high up on the ribs on a lady- she picked the purple flower design though and immediately after the tattoo got on an airplane to Miami)

Much love Nashville🌇

The longer that I’ve been around Japanese tattooing, the more I see the genius behind it. These days, my eye wants to see gigantic seamless fields of juicy pigment! 🔵🔴🟣🟡🟢🟠

If you are in the Nashville area, don’t be a stranger! Let’s chat about your next tattoo in the DM‘s!

ขอบคุณนะครับ 🙏🏽
