It’s that time of year again, Wheelchair Superkick is back!

Wheelchair Superkick gives children with disability the opportunity to experience AFL, develop their footy skills and enjoy being part of a team in a fun and supportive environment.

Each weekly session includes skill-based activities, wheelchair movement, footy development and modified match play. Participants will learn the fundamentals of AFL, build their confidence and experience the excitement of training and playing alongside friends.

The program is open to children aged 7 to 15 with disability. No previous football or wheelchair experience is needed, and participants do not need to use a wheelchair in everyday life. Sports wheelchairs are provided, making it easy for everyone to get involved and enjoy playing footy.

Every Sunday morning, 16-year-old Sophie De Masi swaps being a football player for a coach.

Out on the oval Sophie is helping children living with disability experience her own love of the game, through the Coolbinia Bombers Junior Football Club's Starkick All Abilities program.

Sophie began volunteering at just 14 years old and now helps run drills, coach participants and provide one-on-one support for children with additional needs.

A sunday well spent with With My favourite Regional Starkick Gang!

Round 22 saw the West Coast Eagles dedicate their clash with Collingwood to @telethon7 ‘s Impact Round, celebrating inclusion & community.

These kids from the country, regional WA were invited to take part in the Guard of Honour for the @westcoasteagles, to then taking over the @optusstadium turf at half-time, The starkickers gave us all a lesson in living your life to the fullest, Overcoming every hurdle, including distance, with the hugest smiles, celebrations and wonder in their eyes of the enormity of Optus.

Grateful to be there to Capture it all.

Flying with the team for your first family holiday 🛫

It was the trip of a lifetime for young @telethon7 & @starkickallabilities star Nate and his family as they traveled to Melbourne with the AFL squad in Round 21.

On Wednesday we were fortunate to deliver the 2026 Coaches Inclusion Workshop, where majority of Perth’s Integrated coaches came down to learn more practical coaching skills from the staff at All Abilities Football and WA Football.

Hear just a few of these coaches speak on what it means to be in an inclusive footy space, and stay tuned for more!
