Had a blast teaching this mushroom foraging and processing workshop earlier today in Rock Creek Park 🍄✨ We found and discussed a large diversity of fungi including Trametes (Turkey Tail), Ganoderma (Reishi), Macrolepiota (Parasol), Grifola (Maitake), Laetiporus (Chicken of the Woods), Chlorociboria, Leucoagaricus, Stereum, Trichaptum, Lacrymaria, Lycoperdon, and more! We also processed freshly harvested Maitake mushroom while we nibbled on sauteed Chicken of the Woods. The group was fantastic and we all had a wonderful time nerding out about the fungal kingdom! #mushroomforaging #fungalfriends #fungi #reishi #chickenofthewoods #maitake #turkeytail

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life." Today I am grateful for the ability to walk. To move my body in ways I have only dreamed of. The strength to continue building my next level of health. My support, for continuing to help me bring the mission of love to myself, especially in those difficult moments. Thank you body!!! 📷 @rocksjoe #gratitude #love #hipdysplasia #mermaid #mergoddess #fearisanillusion #nextlevel #strongereveryday #mentalhealth #healthyliving #veganathlete #thejourney #trusttheprocess #quantumleap #stretching
