Thank you God, for the best week of my life at camp. Being able to go a week with no phone, no distractions only Jesus was the biggest blessing. Being able to quiet the outside world and only focus on my relationship with God. Thank you God, for always having a plan for my life greater than I could ever imagine. If you have not given your life to Christ, I can tell you that there is no greater joy than life with Jesus. This past year has been the greatest year of my life, and that is all because of my lord and savior Jesus Christ. Thank you to all my Jamaican brothers who made camp such a great experience, and thank you to @cfstudents_champions and @justinlholcomb for the amazing experience.

Thank you God for giving me one last opportunity to experience church camp as a student. Looking back you’ve allowed me to grow up in church every Sunday with my family. Then later from VBS as a little kid to the many church camps, you’ve blessed me with over the years. You’ve been writing my story long before I ever realized it. Every camp, every lesson, every worship night, every leader and every conversation was another reminder that you’ve never stopped pursuing me. This week wasn’t just another camp, it was the closing of a chapter that has meant so much to me and I couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful way to end it.

Lord, thank You for pulling me away from the distractions of this world. No phones. No endless scrolling. No constant noise. Just You. It’s amazing how quiet life becomes when the world fades away and Your voice becomes the loudest thing in the room. You reminded me that my relationship with You was never meant to be something I fit into my schedule, it should be the foundation of my life. Thank You for convicting me, encouraging me, humbling me and reminding me that You are still shaping me into the man You’ve called me to be.

To everyone in my family group, everyone on team Jamaica, everyone on team Castaways and every single person God placed in my path this week, thank y’all!! I had no idea that people I had just met could become so important to me in only a few days. Every conversation, every laugh, every game, every prayer, every worship song and every memory is something I’ll carry with me for a long time. Y’all reminded me what the body of Christ is supposed to look like, people from different places and different backgrounds becoming one family because of Jesus. I love every one of y’all and I’m so thankful God allowed our paths to cross.

As I close this chapter of being a student at church camp, I realize this isn’t really an ending at all. It’s the beginning of a new season where God is calling me to live out everything He’s been teaching me all these years.

Thank you baseball. Playing this sport for the past 12 years has been a journey. This sport has given me so many lifelong friendships, memories, and has taught me many lessons that have shaped me into who I am today. I am grateful for all the coaches, teammates, and family who have supported me and guided me through this chapter of my life. I will always hold on to these memories and continue to thank God for giving me the opportunity to play the game of baseball. #5 out.
