2025 you broke me in ways I never thought possible but, you also opened my life up to new beautiful things, and people for that I’m forever grateful. 🖤

Healing….

One of the toughest steps of healing is looking yourself in the mirror and taking responsibility for the decisions you have made. Yes there have been many instances where I had no control of the situation but, there have also been instances where I have allowed damaged people access into my life. In that process my self worth and confidence plummeted to a low I never knew I could reach, I lost myself. Through the abuse whether it was mental, physical, sexual, or emotional I dragged myself up because in the back of my mind I knew I was stronger than what I was put through.

I reevaluated my life and my decisions that led me to accepting this twisted abuse that disguised itself as love that I grew used to over the years. Though I’m still healing and working to unravel the experiences I’ve had throughout my life I can confidently say I am growing though it doesn’t come without its challenges.

I must say THE toughest thing I’ve had to do is wake up every morning and remind myself that I am enough, that I am beautiful despite the things I’ve endured. Reminding myself that I am safe and I am worthy of the love I deserve, wouldn’t have been possible without an incredible support system. Thank you from the bottom of my little hobbit heart to everyone pictured and not pictured who has been there to help me pick up the pieces time and time again. Some days are tougher than others but, here is to finally feeling beautiful and comfortable in my skin again.

Here is to finally finding myself and accepting I’m no longer the same person but, a growing beautiful healing version of the woman and child I used to be. 🖤

Sophomore year has been one for the books ! I changed my major, joined a sorority, made new friends, signed my first lease, and grew as a person. Thanks to all the people that made this year great. I can't wait to go back to UNI in August ! 💜💛
